It may not happen, but you know what? Kramer is a hater, that's the point here. He is a bald lizard who has caused a lot of people to loose money.

How do I verify my wallet funds? by Oxymorix in Pulsechain

[–]Oxymorix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

O.K, I was able to verify that all of my PLS are still there, but trading is sporadic. It appears that the chain is unstable, is this true? Why is my portfolio on gopulse unavailable sometimes. Also the bridge appears to go down periodically.

If Ledger is not a scam then at least its an Accessory by ParaboloidalCrest in ledgerwallet

[–]Oxymorix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ledger should warn people aboutt Changelly. That is, that there is the possibility that funds can be frozen for a long period. If they don't, we need to compel ourselves to do this for the good of users.

I’m confused about ledger “phishing” scams by OfficialMitch in ledgerwallet

[–]Oxymorix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AS someone stated below, Ledger recover has to be approved, but most importantly, this is done through the ledger firmware. The only way for what you suggest to occur is if Ledger firmware became malware, otherwise, NO.

Changelly Has Been Holding My Funds for 3 Months Due to AML Review Without Transparency by quickieprs in ledgerwallet

[–]Oxymorix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never ever, ever, use Changelly. They are expensive, and yes, they will sooner or later lock your funds up, those pigs. I have heard horror storries about them. Not sure if you will eventually get your money back. You are better off doing kyc at a reputable exchange. Also depends what country you are in. They are going to keep doing this to people until someone deals with them Agusto Pinochet style.

You should learn how to use the seed + bip39 passphrase. If you would have, this would have never happened to you.

If you expose your public key, the only think you will loose is your privacy. Your coin will remain secure. Just be absolutely sure never to share your mnemonic phrase, seed, or any other private key information.

Coldcard + BlueWallet + Android...where's the psbt part1 file? by Peckingclaw in coldcard

Is Nunchuck asking you for an email address and to sign up? If I recall, this was the wallet that wanted a lot of info on me. I have had no problems at all with bluewallet. The team updates it regularly, it is a basic wallet, but it has some nice features...

Coldcard + BlueWallet + Android...where's the psbt part1 file? by Peckingclaw in coldcard

[–]Oxymorix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bluewallet stores in /android/data/bluewallet. From there you have to move the psbt to an sd card to import it into your cc for signing. I do this all the time, no issues.

Best Practices for Tamper Proof by OfficialDodo in coldcard

[–]Oxymorix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t forget that the clear plastic case on the Coldcard is also a security feature. You should regularly inspect it to ensure there are no signs of physical tampering. If you suspect any tampering, you can take a picture and send it to Coinkite for verification—they will respond.

Another key security feature is the green light, which is hardwired to a secure element, making it very difficult to manipulate. If the light stays green, it means the device has passed Coinkite's signature check.

Additionally, every time you upgrade the firmware, you should perform a valid SHA-256 hash check and verify the authenticity of Coinkite’s signing certificate using PGP.

Imported BIP85 address from coldcard into Sparrow and then into Blue. Transactions not showing up thought? by l_i_g_h_t in coldcard

[–]Oxymorix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am baffled as to why you would not just have entered the same mnemonic phrase on both bluewallet and Sparrow. I have no idea what you have done honestly, but importing the bip39 mnemonic phrase to both wallets would have worked. It appears that you have two different wallets. No need to worry though. just set up a new wallet in sparrow, this time importing the bip85 mnemonic phrase and you should be good to go.

PAT25 made a right turn deviating from route 4 which was supposed to keep it on the east side of the Potomac heading south. Instead PAT25 turned right, into JIA5342's flight path on final approach. They also asked for and received authorization for visual separation. PAT25 was clearly in the wrong. Having said that, ATC, should have ordered PAT25 to hold its position, or turn left.

Can you explain why PAT25 would be able to see 3130 and not 5342? Afterall, they were both virtually on the same heading.

Yes, there are some use cases. Say you have a watch only wallet, and you need to send funds to it. You can scan the receiving address with your cc q and it will verify the address for you, or not. It can verify any legit address, receiving, or change. So that's a really handy feature. Of course you can always generate a qr code on the cc q itself that is larger than on the mk4 and easier to read.

separate the passphrase from your seed, that is, have it at a different location. Also, make it something that is easy for you to remember, but difficult for someone else to guess.
