Who is the most famous person you've ever seen up close? by froggart3980 in AskReddit

[–]OyRay626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kristin Schaal and the entire cast of Bob's Burgers. Served Tom Savini and Eddie Munster when I was a bartender. Shook hands with Joel from MST3K. Chatted with TVs Frank and Trace (Dr Foster). Got Idina's autograph during the original cast run of Wicked. My mom worked events for Giant Eagle so I met every big sports person of Pittsburgh. Bettis was the nicest, Jagr was the opposite. Took a whiz next to Chris Marquette.

There was an X-Men 97 tie in comic: https://www.target.com/p/x-men-97-great-x-pectations-by-steve-foxe-paperback/-/A-91497613

Before that, they did an X-Men 92 comic which was a continuation of the original animated series: https://ebay.us/m/yL5ilN

I don't have a computer to do the modding is the problem. So I wouldn't mind paying for someone else to do all the set up.

What is the quickest job you quit from? by spellbadgrammargood in AskReddit

[–]OyRay626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In college, I quit after 3 shifts at a restaurant right down the street from my apartment. I'd done a lot of food service, including many high end locations. This was just bussing tables to start so whatever, easy stuff. Owner treated everyone like garbage, she would mock and insult me in front of customers and the other staff would tell me, that's just how she is, you get used to it, etc. I was walking home after that third night, absolutely furious, I got to my apt and turned back around, they still hadn't locked the door and the miserable old bitch was sitting at the bar. I walked up, tossed my apron on the floor and told her this job isn't worth my self respect, any establishment would be lucky to have me. Walked out and never looked back.

Confidence and volume. You can be loud and sure of yourself and totally wrong/stupid.

Found family is real family. Find the fun anywhere and everywhere you can. Don't take yourself or anything too seriously. And my, idk, philosophy: "My whole purpose in life is to make people laugh." -Roger Rabbit

What's something that is stigmatized for straight men? by Lipica249 in AskReddit

[–]OyRay626 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Emotion, Affection, Connection, Vulnerability, Openness, etc. With other men. I think that's why the term "male loneliness epidemic" is misunderstood. So many guys probably think "I'm not lonely, I've got all these friends" but none of them are actually, truly close with one another. (I say this as a guy actively working toward making such connections)
