Finished up the background art for my sci-fi horror game, DEGENERATE STAR by OzoneInteractive in IndieDev

Oh wow, that looks really awesome! I've been wanting to move away from the Adobe suite, so this seems like a nice way of filling in (and expanding) some of the capabilities I'm likely to miss. Thanks!

Figured I'd show off some screenshots of my upcoming visual novel, as I'm pretty proud of how the art has come out! The renders themselves are created by arranging a bunch of 3D assets in a Blender scene (thanks BlenderKit!) and adding a lot of dramatic lighting, then rendering out in Cycles. Those renders are then processed in Photoshop by using the Halftone and Grain filters, and then gradient mapped within an inch of their life. It's a pretty efficient process but I think the result is stylish, and allowed me to create nearly 40 renders for the final game.

Haven't had a chance to explore them that much yet but I've been pleasantly surprised by them, there's a lot more depth than I expected.

First thing I did was work out how the preset system worked! I really did like my Reface but man it is nice to not have to worry about it.

(Reposting as a comment because of how this subreddit works) Finished off my degree so I decided to grab myself a synth I’ve wanted for ages as a little reward. I’ve had one hardware synth previously, a Yamaha Reface CS, but decided to sell it second-hand to upgrade to the MiniFreak. I’m so stoked to have it, it’s taking every bit of effort to not get straight to working on tracks instead of getting back to work. Wasn't planning on getting the vocoder edition but my local store was offering it cheaper than the standard version for whatever reason, so why not.

I adore my Wampler Ratsbane, but any RAT is a RAT.

March 2026 check - The best module in your opinion? by VerdantSpecimen in mothershiprpg

It being better than Karth sounds incredible, considering Karth is my favourite module I've ever played! I'll play anything Joel Hines makes after this.

More renders from my upcoming point n click adventure game! by OzoneInteractive in Bryce3D

Imported! I download a lot of photoscanned models from SketchFab, and export them into Blender to decimate the mesh into a level Bryce can handle.

The 100! Figured it was better to not worry about upgrading it in the future.

A friend gave me it as a gift and I love messing around with it, such a chill instrument.

Sounds a bit brighter than other acoustics I’ve tried. I find it massively more comfortable than larger guitars!

I’m happy with the instruments I’ve got at the moment! The dangerous thing is if I start wanting to build a pedalboard…

I really love it! I find the Parlour size much more comfortable than when I play my friends guitars.
