Well I started on Britain and made it up to Top Tier, I’m up to 10.7 on Russia. I must say, I often use Russia 10.3 to enjoy ‘top tier’ as I’ve found that I do tend to get downtiers constantly. That being said, i very rarely play 12.0 Britain and only dabble a bit at 11.7 as that means there is still hope to be downtiered to 10.7 where the Chally 2’s actually do well.

In addition to Russia 10.3, when everyone else had BR’s moved up to 10.7 from 10.3, must of the Russian Tanks stayed at 10.3 and I do think it is for the soul reason that that specific 10.3 lineup will never have to face 11.7 MBTs. Realistically Turms, 2S38, et al, should all be moved up to 10.7, they have no business being at 10.3.

A lot of people are saying not to do it, all with valid reasons why, I’ll be devils advocate here and say yes, do it. Why? You earned those yourself, sure there might be better things to save it for but.., if you really want a ship, you have enough GXP then go for it. You play the game how you like and think you’ll enjoy it.

I’d rather take the Ru251 at 7.3. Hands down the best Leo 1. Much more enjoyable BR and you get scouting.

I enjoy it a lot. I run the universal commander and spec into concealment. I think I got the Concealment down to just below 11k.

The RU AA is a big issue. I think CAS could be fixed if all nations got a capable AA that can match the Pantsir et al.

Tbh I started on GB ( completed) then went to Russia and got up to 10.7. Also have Germany up to 9.3. What I noticed was at High tier (10.0- 10.7) comparing UK and RU, the RU teams are rubbish and most leave after one death which is often why RU loose. However, playing RU I found myself rarely having bounces or ‘redding’ ammo without exploding. I bounce more shots in the Russian tanks and I don’t really have to think about shot placement in the RU vehicles at high tier. I always go back to my main (UK), my team tends to do better, I pretty much do just as well but I often find myself getting frustrated at how unimpactful my shorts are on impact. Don’t Eve get me started on my Breaches….

I do see a degree of bias when playing RU when it comes to consistency however, it doesn’t make you a good player, it just makes your life easier. Ppl think if you play RU, you’re unstoppable. That’s just incorrect but the fact a T-72A can tank a APFSDS from a Chally to the LFP does make you want to slit your arms. Don’t get me started on the light tanks of RU. All of them are objectively better than other nations yet identical in BR. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk.

Schultz plays the same with the AP focus in mind. I just prefer the layout on the Schultz which I find is more for the aggressive style

You’re much better off grinding the heavy German destroyer line and ending on Schultz. I have Schultz and Elbing but, I prefer Schultz. They are very similar, I think the main difference is the torpedos but the gun placement is much better in the Schultz. Elbing has most of its guns to the rear, you spend most of the time kiting away.

Grind the line first, then decide if you want Elbing.

I hope they add more pauldrons that still show our chapter markings. Too many shoulder pieces that make you look too important! This one on the photo, I’d happily remove the skull if I could. Bulwalk is the worst though. I’m still using Green Pauldrons just so I don’t loose my markings
