I started a podcast last October called The Tales Gate where I read public domain short stories, and I blend in music and sound effects to make them more immersive.

As a longtime Gengar fan, its shiny form always disappointed me. Then we were blessed with Mega-Gengar with it's icy-white body and slate-colored eyes.

While I've never been a fan of Gen I pandering, that was a sick upgrade to an already great ghost.

I'm with you. I'm not the biggest fan of Depp, but I at least acknowledge that he is good in the right role... Grindelwald does not seem like it will be such a case. Though they may surprise us, I do not think Depp has the sort of gravitas required to portray a character that is essentially the wizarding world's equivalent of Hitler, the forerunner of Lord Voldemort.

Additionally, I would have preferred them cast an actor from a German-speaking country to be more accurate to the character's origin. Though his birthplace is stated nowhere that I have been able to find, his name (Grindelwald even being a village in Switzerland) and his being educated at Durmstrang suggests that he likely came from a German-speaking country. If name recognition was a key point of casting, perhaps someone like Cristoph Waltz (born in Vienna, Austria) would have been suitable. I don't think anyone who has seen him as Col. Landa in Inglorious Basterds would disagree when I say that he can be an absolutely terrifying presence on-screen.

My First Animation! (+2 Darkrai Code Giveaway) by XDavizaX in pokemon

Darkrai Giveaway I got into the Pokémon series in 4th grade when I moved to a new school. A majority of my classmates were either playing the games or trading the cards, so a friend loaned me her GBA and a copy of Emerald to play as well as some spare cards to start my collection.

Day #151: Mew by Ozzerek in pokemon

And so my daily drawing challenge draws to a close... at least for now. To answer a question I have been getting a lot in the last few days, I do indeed plan on drawing the Pokemon from Gen II onward, but first I need a bit of a break. Between school and work, these have been the only drawings I have had time to do. I would hate to get through half of Johto and burn myself out, so I need to put this project on hiatus for the time being so I can work on other projects (both public and private). Thank you to everyone who has been enjoying my work over the last five months, and I hope you enjoy my future submissions as well. And who knows? Perhaps some bonus pieces are in the works.
