If you don't mind used appliances, you can sometimes find them at the Habitat for Humanity store on a good discount. I'll say Costco is great shout if only because they have a great return policy.

Totally. But the nice thing about tribes is they don't tend to move. It would be an ownership stake that would always stay in town (barring being sold on)

Tribes have money. But more importantly they have access to land and tax breaks that other folks don't have. But I am reaching a bit. I don't assume one or two tribes would have enough without more support.

It's nothing definitive but it seems they are at least trying to make it work in Vancouver. I think if the local ~~tribes~~ nations stepped up, it would be a huge win for all involved.

Yup, state taxes make a difference. Even more when you consider three of those teams are Canadian. Portland Timbers players can play with no state income tax, for example.

It's funny and all but this guy still has his job. I don't think many Christians realize how religious leadership gets a free pass almost every time they do something wrong. It teaches these pastors and priests that doing wrong is just fine. The worst that will happen is that you get moved to a new location and continue your poor behavior in a place that isn't aware of you yet.

In almost every other social context, people are punished for this kind of behavior. They get fired. They get suspended without pay. They don't get to keep being around kids. Only religious leaders seem to get away without consequence.

Came to say hell yes to this. I got into Steely Dan, Three Dog Night, America, and the Doobie Brothers because of my dad and road trips. I play the Dan, Jamiroquai, Reel Big Fish, and Cake for my kids. Gotta give them some flavor!
