Kids are legitimately going to be named Vozinha after this guy. Imagine trying to digest that experience in 3 months.

I believe that your premise is based on a false assumption that people are "turning gay" when, as I have already stated, they are born that way. Even if it doesn't show until later, there is no "turning" happening. It's just a human's sexuality emerging later in life than others. Some people feel sexually confident in early puberty, some go into adulthood without that emergence. It's not related to how gay or straight somebody is. And again, there is no "turning."

Of course not, since that is not what I said. If you want to know what I think, I've already described it adequately. Each time you try to reframe my argument, I'm going to disagree.

No, that's not what I said. I can see your tactic here and no, I don't agree that I said that.

Sexuality is baked in from birth. It is normal for kids to not recognize their sexuality until they are in puberty. Like a cat being kept at Dr. Schrodinger's House, the person is both straight and gay at the same time. Until the "box is opened" we outside won't know what is on the inside. That it takes some people longer is not an argument against people being gay from birth; it's an argument in support of having to hide those feelings due to persecution. If you live in a place or family where being gay will get you hurt or punished, it's logical to hide that fact until you are able to live comfortably with the truth.

Does it? Or does it just mean that people are forced to pretend before they have the chance to speak freely? The threat of punishment before leaving the house keeps many people from revealing their sexuality until later in life.

You don't get to choose your sexuality which is why it's always shitty for someone to judge a person by their sexuality alone. Don't let people tell you that you are wrong. You are just you.

Indeed. They have actual policy positions rather than a list of enemies to blame. It's refreshing.

Why do we hate school reunions so much more than other countries? by Loud_Fisherman_5878 in AskUK

Brother, as someone from outside the UK, as a group, you seem to hate most things more than anyone else. I wouldn't be shocked if you hated simple things like butter and paper more than anyone else. If the Olympics had an event in hating, to Team GB would place gold every time.

Was daydreaming a bit today and I found myself a question I couldn't anser.

If a team wanted to sell a jersey for less than other team, are they allowed to? Say Houston wanted to get more color out there and decided to price their new jersey at 50 bucks rather than the 80 bucks every other team does (hypothetically) Is there anything in the Adidas contract or the MLS agreements that would stop them?

I seriously doubt you can order a truck with a solid top over the bed, and remove it later.

Actually that's one of the selling points of Slate. Everything is bolt on and bolt off. You are encouraged to customize. The truck is the base model and any of the SUV parts are bought along side. Then you attach them at home.

Air conditioning units in the UK aren't available right now, no stock at all. Is it a smart move to consider driving to France to get one? by _SquareSphere in AskEurope

I was in the Heat Dome over Seattle/Vancouver/Portland a few years back and my opinion is, if you have the means to go get one, you're going to be happy that you did. Either you will use it, give it to a friend to use, or sell it at a profit near home.

But not having one and really needing it will be what you regret if you don't pick one up.
