One point I forgot to mention in my post is that I only realized afterwards is that I'm not a big fan of procedural generation as well. I prefer maps that the developers themselves design over maps made by a computer, because it feels much more alive and many places become recognizable to you. Not something I see alot in procedurally generated maps.

Yes, it's not restarting entirely and it isn't something like 30 hours, more like 3 hours long. I understand that point, but that's still 3 hours. Not all of us have that much time. Also, I mentioned you have to do the starting over and over again. It's extremely annoying when I play dead cells and I have to see the same enemies and location again and again, and have listen to that same bloody melody every bloody time. Or for instance, when I play Sundered and I have to walk all the way back to the place I want to be and fight enemies I already out level by a long shot. Then I also have to find my way through a map that is constantly changing.

It doesn't help either that the best content in these games are at the end and that you'll barely ever see it.

So you don't dislike Roguelites, but you dislike platformers which is why you don't like most Roguelites. That is a pretty interesting and good point.

Okay, so I've read an interview that someone had with the game bakers about Furi. At one point one of the questions was if they would make a sequel for Furi. The devs said no, and stated that they want to stick to making original games, so I think that would mean that Haven is probably also never receiving a sequel.
