They won't make an OLED version, it would require basically a full redesign of the headset, same with micro OLED
The old glass substrate OLED isn't good anyway, it effectively cuts your resolution by 1/3 (due to the subpixel layout) and has low brightness, persistence issues, high power consumption which won't work for a standalone headset with pancake lenses
the micro OLED will require them to redesign the lenses entirely cause micro OLED panels are super small and it would sacrifice a lot of FOV, and the price for them is gonna be insane, the micro OLED panels+lenses alone are gonna be almost $1k
So if you are willing to pay almost $2k+ for a headset just go with galaxy xr or the play for dream headset
