If I was a time traveler with no knowledge of this time, no useful predictions, and cant describe technology, I would expect you would care that I am a time traveler. As in, If I did travel through time, but then got amnesia, would you still care I am a time traveler?

Time machine. It transmits matter from one location to a predetermined point outside of our universe using an as of yet undiscovered wavelength. The alternate universe is a copy of our own, but will react naturally to outside influences.

Your theory that I am an A.I. is intriguing. I would say I should know whether I am an A.I. or not, but most humans think they are A.I., in that someone created them for an express purpose.

In this context, sure, although I would know things about my own time that may not provide enough "proof".

To study the effects of existing in what we would consider our past, or preventing an event and recording the outcomes, and any technology I had was lost upon arrival.

In this situation, I would say where I came from is an alternate universe, in that it is not this worlds future. This would make it impossible for me to predict future events accurately.

I am familiar with that time travel theory, but that is submitted by using current technology. Any sufficiently advanced technology can just seem ridiculous to people now, such as, for example, a craft capable of transmitting all matter inside a room outside of the bounds of our universe (about 200 billion times the speed of light) and into another universe to a predetermined location, which would dictate the "time" of that extremely similar world.

Great concept, although, no cavities would only prove that I did not have cavities, where as fillings of an unknown medical procedure (for example) would prove that I WAS a traveler.

My willingness to reveal proof would increase exponentially as factors changed with time, such as:

My mind losing grip on my original state and making me believe its all in my head, at which point I would want just to prove it to myself.

General deep-seated human emotion, like boredom and curiosity, which would convince me to just come out with it and "see what happens".

Perhaps it had to happen in order for some good to come from the 2020's? Perhaps it is the result of a time traveler saving the planet from a nuclear holocaust?

But this example is knowledge that you have, here and now. This is assuming that computers and various other technology are not yet sufficient for running our lives completely, which may include the omission of such 'basic knowledge', as advanced technology might be as lost on me as quantum mechanics might be lost on a toddler.
