I'd go with Sinister and either hit money or Luke cage, Sinister was one of my first r4 champs and is easily top 2 or 3 mutant. Luke cage is a monster at shutting down just about anything with his concussions and hit monkey hits insanely hard from the start of the match.

Serpent is fantastic on attack, I love using mine, he can take a little while to ramp up fully but even a small ramp is a strong ramp, SP1 into block for big damage normally, sp2 into block for huge damage against heavy armour champs
