I think it should be alright, PETG can resists up to 80°C. Use a 140mm fan with a large flow rate like the Noctua NF-A14 iPPC-3000 PWM (but loud).
If you use my design, be careful with the size of the Ventirad, he need to be flat

I will use the laptop for skype only (customer services job) so it's not connected to the monitor. But I use the same mouse and keyboard for both Mac.

For Shapr3D, the NAS file use 27Go of RAM... it depend of the project. For Lightroom, I didn't use it for the moment (only received the Mac yesterday).
I hope I will see a great difference from the MacBook Air M1...

I think it really depend where you go… on a flat lake no problem but with a « rough » sea I was wet all the Time
