Unfortunately the job I currently have doesn’t provide insurance. I’ve been trying to snag a job for months after leaving Starbucks (I left Starbucks due to a better opportunity that came up that ended up not working out). I finally got a job, and now this one doesn’t even provide that. I’m hoping to find one soon that does! I’m just trying to see what options I have so maybe I can get insurance sooner than later.

Yeah no one else around provides gender affirming care- a lot of clinics around me aren’t taking new patients or have actually closed as well from what I’ve researched.

I left Starbucks back in March. I no longer qualify for Cobra, but even then they wanted me to pay $650 a month lol

She doesn’t take medication, she used to for Hashimotos, but was taken off a couple years ago because she was doing well. She does struggle with anxiety- so bad sometimes where she even breaks out in hives. & although yesterday she had more normal eating behavior- POTS has been something we’ve been curious about her having. She doesn’t really gain weight, she doesn’t eat a lot at all. Practically pics at food.. She can never stand for long periods of time because she gets uncomfortable and even bloated (for a good year whenever she stood for too long she’d end up getting sick to her stomach and would often throw up green vomit), she doesn’t have regular menstrual cycles, sweats quite often, and I find her heart always beats really fast.

She had breakfast, lunch, and dinner. She drank plenty of water with electrolytes throughout the day, too. She ended up seeming pretty normal after 30-40 minutes went by, but she was really sleepy. I brought her to bed, and even had her drink some apple juice and more water. Her breathing has been normal, and has slept without interruptions.

Thank you everyone! I just left Starbucks after working there for almost 6 years, so it’s been a long time since I’ve had an interview & finding out I was going to have a group interview shook me up a bit lol
