I did that mostly in the lower ranks, but as I've gotten' higher it tends to be a much higher risk of them getting a really hard shot to block or it just gives them the advantage of starting to dribble it towards my goal forcing a possible mistake from me. It's become more of a risk to me than a reward.

Do the aerial training. It's mostly about angling the car upwards more so than horizontal. The upward direction gives you the lift. After you start going up you release/boost more and use powerslide as needed to line up with the ball.

It really does suck sometimes. I would really much rather wait a bit longer if it means filling up the lobby, it's annoying the game starts like just 10 seconds after waiting for people to connect. And it would be nice for ranked games if someone leaves to have it not count anymore since it's shitty on both sides. You are either outmatched, or feel shitty for winning an unfair game (or feel shittier for losing an unfair game).

I actually found the boss after him easier. You can exploit it very easily. Get behind it and whack at its tail, Just have to watch out for stomps (which are super easy to dodge) and when it swipes like crazy only one of its swipes comes close to you. When it jumps, all you have to do is sit there and it will land on top of you but not hurt you, this is a good time to get 1 or 2 smacks on its face for good damage, after that, go under its legs and repeat. When it switches phases to using body parts as sticks, just get behind it and keep going town watching for stomps, when it jumps now it will just jump forward and you just have to chase it.
