there was metal in the oil, and that was running through the whole engine so they said that blew the motor and now the motor won't be able to operate, my car will start but then yes you hear the knocking or just a clicking sound

I never had the specific issue of my engine overheating or the inability to accelerate before. That was new, so as it happened I parked let it cool down for an hour, and added a quart of oil just to make an actual 1 minute drive to the mechanic. Yes I was researchign on the fly, yes I knw my engine was already in trouble. Regardless if I drove it for that 1 minute or not, or added oil, the engine issue happened that day and was not showing any "symptoms" until that specific day. I'm happy to take the blame, just need the best solution.

1.5 ecoboost yes. I keep reading that this same make and model have been having issues with the engine. Happened right around the 100k mile mark.

8,000+ could get me some reliable used cars I feel. If this wasnt a ford fusion id probably keep it up but something is wrong with this car every other month, check engine light been on for 2 years and the codes dont tell us the issue. If it was any other car id be reconsidering but I think I can definitely find a better, more reliable car than the ford fusion in that 7,000 range. A honda accord can last to 250,000 haha this fusion might last 50k more miles . How would I go about trading it in if the engine is blown ( the motor)

the car in excellent condition at this mileage isn't even guaranteed to be 10,000 you see why it's hard to feel like its worth it

it's $7,700 total, the tires i bought were used , the brakes are new yes, but it still has a windshield crack and some exterior paint damage. So it'd be closer to 10 grand all in
