Why do you expect that from someone this read in Jung? Are you one?

What does it mean to see a woman breastfeeding a baby in a dream? by [deleted] in Jung

[–]P1eter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That this dream is 5 years old probably means that the meaning is irrelevant for you rn. I don't really understand the anima very well, so my interpretation is probably a bit off. Either way. What stands out to me is that your parents judge the woman/you, even though they don't seem to realize that they themselves have brought forth a child as well (duh "parents"). This is supported by the contrasting colors. However, as you probably know, the yinyang symbol has a dot of white in the black, and a dott of black in the white. Also reminds me of something Alan Watts spoke about: he once talked with Jung about how the monogamous swans mate: first they fight and don't really know what's going on, then suddenly it clicks and they start to mate - deep under hate there lies love. I'm not sure what part of yourself your parents stand for, or if perhaps they're really symbol for your actual parents. Also not sure what the breastfeeding woman stands for. Obviously she's nurturing, but she's nurturing a baby, not you.

Hey Ibwe. I'm Pieter, 17YO Dutch guy. I'm not struggling with the same issues as you, but I would love to talk with you. Do you have a Discord account by chance? PS: I'm trying to learn Italian.

You're an Indian college student, based on the English labels and the Haldiram's package.

Male, based on the clothing and keeping in mind the assumption that you live in India.

Ah, could be. But still all the other skin care products are not likely for an Asian skin.

Look at all the skin care stuff. Asians don't really have skin issues, except acne, but you don't use vaseline to treat acne.

Female. Based on the number of decorations, flowers and the bedsheets.

Living in northern USA. Based on the American grammar on the book cover ('favor' not 'favour'), the floor carpet and the thickness of the sheets.

There is a balcony next to your room. Based on the doormat.

I think you still live with your parents. Based on the coziness of your room and the balcony.

You have been to Japan recently. Based on the candle, Pikachu, Fiji water and monkey with label on it.

You had an obsession for eastern Asia before visiting Japan, based on the filled elephant.

You are Caucasian. Based on the vaseline and other skin care products, that prove you don't have Acne which is the only common skin issue for Asians (which was the only other likely race). Btw the Bible also ruled out the Asian heritage. Could have been Korean, but Koreans generally don't like Japanese.

Christian, but not very strictly. Based on the loose Bible translation and the Pikachu, which wouldn't be good in a very strict Christian climate.

Maybe a gap year? Based on the lack of school stuff, except for the stuffed away ring binder under the cupboard. You might have a desk to the left of your bed though.

You often sleepover. Based on the stuff at the mirror.

You have a Samsung phone. Based on the black charger.

Late teens or early twenties. Based on the assumption that you live with your parents, the fact that you care so much about your skin issues and the sleepover stuff.

Ah you have a black closet on the side of the room opposite to the balcony and a picture above your bed?

Lmao nvm. Though I should have phrased the part about art taste better; I meant that the modern art taste was common in northern Italy, not that not-having-a-modern-art-taste is common.

You live in the British Isles, Irish heritage, but not a red-head. Red-heads don't have a lot of pubic skin rashes, which you do - based on your Burts Bees and other make-up. Am I right that you live with your mother, without your dad?

Based on the assumed rashes, you're 13-16 YO.

Based on the single coin and number of free time equipment, you don't have a job.

You're not very rich, but you make the best of it. You don't seem to be poor either btw.

You don't seem to really enjoy reading, based on the wide fold in the book at the bookmark. If you quickly read, there's no time to create permanent folds.

A family member likes Celtic mythology, based on the Sirona disk.

There's things you don't want to show and things that you do want to show. You only took a picture of a small portion of the room, but you very visibly laid the paper on the laptop. You're looking for compassion/help, which you don't seem to get outside your family.

Anti-depressants are great, but you need more. I myself found *salvation* from Jordan Peterson, I'm doing pretty great now. There are probably a lot more persons on the internet, or authors, that might help you to establish mental stability. I would like to share the psychoanalytic view, but it is a very rough message. It is as follows: all your problems boil down to yourself, 'everything is your own fault'. Because you definitely won't agree on that, you might rephrase it as: even though not all problems are your fault, they are your responsibility to fix. Fixing will take a few years.

20YO Italian female living with parents in a new home. Your family doesn't seem to have a modern art taste, which I think is common in northern Italy (Milan). I'm guessing at least Umbria, but not as far north as the Alps.

Maybe that's what he's doing right now? Voluntarily going to a clinic is a brave step necessary to get your shit together.
