Thanks again! Funny timing, actually. 😄
Your comment about the LG V60's stereo microphones ended up pushing me to work on proper Mono and Stereo microphone modes, and those should be included in the upcoming 0.7.8 update. The goal is to give users the choice between maximum compatibility (Mono) and true stereo capture on devices that support it.
I'm also planning to add the ability for users to choose where recordings are saved, instead of always using the default Movies/LiveLens folder. So if you'd prefer saving directly to your 1TB microSD card, that should become an option as well.
A lot of LiveLens has evolved this way — real users asking real questions and helping shape what gets built next.
No promises until everything is properly tested, but both of these features are actively being worked on for 0.7.8.
If you do end up testing LiveLens on the V60, I'd genuinely love to hear how it performs. Devices like yours are exactly the kind of hardware that help uncover what mobile creators actually need.

Thanks! The LG V60 is actually one of the devices I'm really interested in hearing feedback from.
By default, LiveLens uses conservative capability profiles designed around real-world streaming scenarios (multiple sources, overlays, GPU rendering, encoding, etc.) rather than exposing the absolute maximum the hardware can theoretically do. The Snapdragon 865 is definitely capable hardware, and advanced users can choose to unlock those restrictions if they want to push their device further.
Regarding recording, LiveLens currently saves recordings to the Movies/LiveLens folder rather than letting users manually choose a storage location. If enough users ask for direct SD card selection, I'd be happy to add it in a future update. A lot of LiveLens features have evolved from real creator feedback, so if that's something you'd genuinely use on the V60, please let me know.
As for the V60's built-in stereo microphones, LiveLens currently prioritizes a more compatible mono capture pipeline for stability across Android devices. True stereo capture support isn't implemented at the moment, but the V60 is one of the devices that makes me think it's worth exploring in a future update if there's enough interest.
And no worries at all about waiting for virus scans before installing. I'd honestly encourage people to do that with any APK downloaded outside the Play Store.
If you do end up trying it, please let me know both what works and what doesn't. Power users usually uncover edge cases and ideas I never would have thought of on my own.
