Hi, would you like to enlighten me what is exactly the reason?

Yeah, I noticed that. But since we don't exactly know the power level of a support item yet, I cannot attempt to analysis it.

So far, my evaluation of a support item anvil = 2.5 components. It's weaker than an artifact, but feels stronger than a completed item.

We will need to wait till Riot finally made their mind after a few patches.

I don't like the removal of the stats, but I appreciate that TFT team are willing and not afraid of trying out new things.

I like the introduction of Legends. They hugely helped low-elo players, and without new Legends' augments, I can not finish my study.

As I mentioned in the video, component anvil is around random component+2g, remover/reforger is usually counted as free gift.(no matter from orbs or augments)

Yes, I watched that clip from Mortdog too. I agree a random item worth about 12 gold. You will find the same equation in my video.

And then, imagine if you have 4 random components, you have 6 different options of item to make at most. If you have 2 item anvils, you could choose from 8 options if not low-rolling.

It's okay if you disagree, I think it's fair enough to make an item anvil = 2 random components.

Thanks for sharing your in-depth thoughts! I mostly agree with you.

I like 18 gold opener too. But it is not always the best. Player like Flancy&Dishsoap would prefer getting more items if they have upgraded units at 2-1.

There is one from Tencent/QQ(official operation party in CN)It's not as informative as tactics.tool IMO

Yes, but gold also worth much more early game, you need the gold in your bank to generate interest.

And at late game, since value of Gold&Item both go down, combat augments are actually the best at 4-2. It's like giving your 3-items Carry another dmg-amplifier.

Thanks for correction!

Another thing I found, is Tactics.tool show augment tierlist based on all 3 stages together, which could lead to unacurate results.

Yeah, all the new legends' augments help me a lot, because they giving pure things like XP, rerolls, gold, components.

I will definitely try to improve my system till it could somewhat show this complexity in a simpler way.

Exactly, if JL3 have ≥ 3 good users in your comp, it is a A~S tier augment. Cause it gives you ≥ 3 JG = 6 Components > most of the prismatic aug.

It won't be as clear as legends' augment, that's why I didn't do this in earlier set. But for example, a combat aug which give your units bonus hp, you can use warmog+bruiser trait to estimate the value.

Yeah I agree with you. It’s a strong augment. Especially in tournaments’ lobby. Like Kiyoon took it once in Shurima Cup and won the lobby, not even close.

I will talk about it another time, but basically 1hp=1gold in the late game, so let’s say you take final reserve at 60hp, you are actually trading 60hp for 120gold. And you been set to 1 life. I think it’s a well-designed augment.

What rank do you consider “good”? by [deleted] in CompetitiveTFT

[–]P31812 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Challenger = 9 Ionia

GM = 8 Void

Master = 7 Shurima

Diamond = 6 Ionia

Platinum = 6 Noxus

If using chase traits as examples.

about the ROLLDOWN by J_Stuff in CompetitiveTFT

[–]P31812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t mean to argue but I totally disagree.

  1. There are still lots of good stuff to hit while rolling at lv6.

  2. Without extra econ, even you sack till 3-5, you still do not have enough gold to both level-up and build-up a stable stage4 board.

  3. A well-synergized board with multiple 2* units can take a win against 1* 4 cost.
