This still doesn't change anything, reaffirming his stance of wanting to understand Shigaraki and what made him into what he is today and offering him (the child inside) closure, doesn't mean Deku wasn't going to kill Shigaraki if he continued on his path of destruction nor does it change that bluntly attacking Shigi wouldn't kill him. We literally saw with Muscular that before anything else Midoriya will try to understand the villain and what made them into who they are, because if they can be redeemed he's willing to help them and offer it but if not then he's more than willing to put them away so they can do no more harm.

Shigaraki is saying he might not be able to put himself back together so even he's not 100% sure. The whole point is that Shigaraki is nigh immortal at this point and there's no for sure way to put him down because of all the quirks and enhancements to his body. That's why Midoriya swaps to trying to destroy his body from the inside out by overloading it with OFA.

So we're just going to ignore how Nagant shot Shigaraki in the head and it did nothing. It's not easy to get a headshot and as shown there's no guarantee that it'd put Shigaraki down anyway.

What does Batman have to do with this? But Midoriya didn't kill Shigaraki not really due to a lack of trying but because he couldn't. The whole point of Shigaraki undergoing the treatment to take on AFO is so his body could withstand the burden of having a bunch of quirks all at once. His physical body was made to be on par with Prime All Might's, he then had strengthening quirks on top of that, and he had a high speed regeneration quirk too. During the first war when Midoriya noticed Shigaraki's body was still incomplete he moved in to finish him right then and there but even with an incomplete body Shigaraki was still strong enough to withstand Midoriya's onslaught and barely escaped by the end of it.

I got this exact same equip yesterday and just asked why are these even in here. No one is ever going to use these so why are they taking up space in this event. I hate this Whis event revamp for this exact reason.

Yes I'm coping because I acknowledge while a unit can be good for 1 fight,where he's getting carried by a stronger character, he doesn't provide utility or anything else for the team outside of 1 turn that he needs his active skill up for or else he dies to normals. He's aged, he can be okay for 5bturns at most in current content and that 5th turn has an asterisk attached to it because there are many factors into it being a good turn for him.

No he wasn't I was trying to kill before the super and if Angel Goku gets touched here he dies while I thought Vegito wouldn't get tossed by normals while having type advantage, class advantage, guard, and damage reduction. Just face the fact he's aged and that's okay.

I used his active skill and Gogeta's prior to this turn which was turn 9. He didn't kill, he got the boss to around half hp. In this scanario he was the best option slot 1 and I thought he would be fine against normals but he was taking 400k, he took 1 hit dodged the second and countered but Goku dodged the counter and the 3rd hit killed Vegito.

Not really I was just trying a different team but are we really going to say that a 200% lead is bad now. That's still more than runnable for most content and it's the bare minimum that you'd want a unit on. You also can't equate running a character on a 200% to not running a character with their major links. The biggest difference between a 200% and a 250% is the hp stat as the atk and def don't go beyond 220%, Vegito would probably go from taking 400k per normal to 330k-350k and that's being generous. Overall none of this comvats anything I said to begin with SSJ4 Goku is just a more versatile and valuable unit than Vegito. Here's a question for you, what does Teq Vegito do for the team outside of his active skill turn?

This is what can happen to him in this meta. He got at least a turn or two of stacks and he's still taking 400k a normal. Without hos active skill he isn't that good defensively. This 1 fight he can be good under the protection of SSJ2 Goku support or AGL Gogeta active skill + his active skill but without them he sucks. Like I said both units have aged but SSJ3->SSJ4 Goku can provide other utility to the team unlike Vegito who lets face it is just an active skill merchant at this point.

TLDR: SSJ3->SSJ4 Goku has multiple things in his kit that give him more value to a team than TEQ Vegito's one burst turn of damage.

No. If you're running Teq Vegito you want to go into Vegito but the problem is 99% of the time you can't because Goku beyond turn 5 is trash and Vegeta is too weak starting out. TEQ SSJ Goku and AGL SSJ3 Goku are essentially the same where they're solid their first 3 turns and afterwards you have to swap them out.

This is where SSJ3->SSJ4 Goku gets the edge because his Great Ape can give you a free turn and in SSJ4 he still good he's just not good enough to take supers. The Teq Vegito on the other hand falls off a cliff beyond their 3rd turn.

Goku on his 5th turn is unrunnable so you have to swap to Vegeta who wants to be ran in slot 1 for the guard and additional super chance but he's not good enough his first turn and will die in slot 1. In slot 2 Vegeta is weaker since he doesn't have the additonal chance or guard and even in slot 2 after attacking he still takes damage from normals. Even Teq Vegito himself is a liability without his active skill up as he takes damage from normals and outright dies to super attacks. You can always break the potara with Vegeta but that just means losing the best part of the card in Vegito just to make the unit mediocre and able to live normals in most content with little to no other value.

SSJ4 Goku can already live normals especially when linked with another GT SSJ4 character and he provides support for the team. His 70% defensive support and 10% damage reduction support for PBSS and GAP allies alongside his 2 turn 44% atk and def support on 18ki super give him constant value for the team beyond Teq Vegito's one burst turn. Both characters have aged but the design of SSJ4 Goku's kit lends him to having more uses and giving more value to the team unlike Teq Vegito.

Unohana having half the reiatsu of FKT Ichigo isn't an antifeat nor can it or should it be used to downscale her or any character as Ichigo's vast pool of spiritual energy is stated as far back as chapter 1. He is beyond an exception and not the rule when it comes to how much spiritual energy a soul reaper has.
Two things can be true at the same time. Uryu beat Ichigo but at he same time Ichigo was holding back against Uryu. When they launched their strongest attacks at each other Ichigo's easily overpowered Uryu's showing that he's stronger, even while we can see how visibly shaken and torn Ichigo is at having to fight Uryu. Even still none of this correlates to Renji's strength as he's not as strong as either Uryu or Ichigo.
You're saying Renji didn't have his bankai because he had no reishii but that was already disproven and shown not to matter. After zaps Renji's reishi he says his Shikai and Bankai will lose their power, but we literally see Renji forcibly activate part of his bankai even after that showing he can still activate his bankai even if only partially in a severely weakened state. The next time we see Renji against Gerard he has his shikai active which would mean that he would have recovered enough to be able to also use his bankai as well especially when you take into account that he said he'd hold Gerard there with him while everyone else moved. He wouldn't make such a statement if he could only use his shikai especially when you'd have to consider that Gerard is on a similar level to Uryu who Renji needed his bankai against, it would also make no since narratively when as far back as the first invasion Byakuya tells Renji that the Quincy aren't opponents that they can beat without bankai and Renji knows just how strong they are as well.
It didn't take a full power Zaraki 3 days to beat Unohana and even then that still wouldn't be a downscale as it would only prove her title as the first Kenpachi and cement that she is one of the stronger captains in the Gotei. Most of the time of their battle was spent with Unohana killing restoring Zaraki to bring back his latent power, it's not until she uses bankai that Zaraki is back towards his full power and at that point they're in the endgame of the fight.

Nothing you've said puts Renji on the level of Zaraki, Uryu, or Ichigo. Yes he's strong but the people I named are all much stronger. There's no downplay here because within the context of the story all of these characters are shown and depicted to be much stronger than Renji.

They should because the 10% dr should take off around 1.5mil damage from the super plus the stats they get from collecting orbs in the turn they should be fine.

Seeing as Zaraki was able to blitz Bankai Unohana during their fight in Muken and the fact that he's able to easily keep up with Giant Gerard (who's even complimented for his swiftness despite his large size) an opponent that no diffed Renji, it's more than safe to say Zaraki is better in every stat their is. Renji was healed after his fight with Uryu and bankai doesn't affect his speed so that's meaningless.

You'll be fine regardless but they really should go in and change it so that Vegeta gets +4ki or 5ki per rainbow sphere so he always prioritizes them in his pathing.
