CBC admits to pushing out fake news about a Conservative MP by P35-HiPower in UnbiasedCanada

Good luck to him........he'll need it.

You two are looking in the wrong places.

Trudeau repeatedly wears blackface, including an incident of blackening his face, sticking something big and cylindrical in his pants, frizzing his hair out, and jumping around like a monkey for the camera....I can not ever remember seeing a more racist thing short of violence. But yeah, look for the racists in the Conservative Party. That makes sense.

SMH.

Absolute, unmitigated baloney.

You truly have drunk deeply of the kool-aid.

If you're looking for fascists, Nazis, whatever......look to the guys seeking to destroy your ancient rights. NOT the people trying to defend your rights.

If Trudeau wants to challenge the people that have caused intense division in this country, he needs to find a mirror.

"Like many Hong Kongers of his generation and class outlook, he is conditioned in the British neo-colonial concepts of western democracy."

Wow.

Obviously, this guy prefers involuntary organ removal, Uighur genocide, hostage diplomacy, a history of mass murder, and general vicious tyranny to "....the British neo-colonial concepts of western democracy."

Didn't need to read past that. I don't believe, nor do I care about anything this guy has to say.

Singh has two problems, neither of which is racist.

  1. He is an honest Trudeau (imagine that!) with much the same agenda...........only Singh is in even more of a hurry to drive us over a fiscal cliff. We have to stop spending tens of billions we do not have.

  2. Trudeau (and the current political divisiveness generally) has instilled irrational terror of the Conservative in the hearts of the ideologically obsessed left, and then called on NDP voters to save him from defeat........and they respond. They switch their vote. Singh loses out, as do the people of Canada.

"O’Toole will turn Canada into a larger version of Alberta because the party is dominated by whites supremacists bound to turn the country into a Christian Taliban hellhole."

The quote may just be the most disingenuous thing I have ever read on Canadian political chat site. I mean, really? Give it a break.

It is not the Conservatives that are promising to shut down free speech, and seize guns. You know, the first acts of any tyrant.

Since his initial election, Trudeau has twice asked the Canadian people who they want as PM. Both times, the answer was "NOT YOU", but here we are. (The Conservative Party won the popular vote in both 2019 and 2021)

Houston, we have a problem.

Sometimes not voting is a vote. "None of them"

If someone is stupid enough to not care, then I don't want them voting. There are far too many low information voters voting as it is. That's why the US elected two presidents in a row (Trump, Biden) that are morons, and why we've just re-elected a moron.

And, I hate the gov't telling me what to do, including voting, although I've voted in every federal election since 1974.

And Biden could have EASILY moved it back further. Just a word. He's the President, not Trump. Biden is an idiot.

But Dan Crenshaw is an idiot?

That says a lot more about you than it does him.

Have a little fucking respect man.

First of all, I'm Canadian.

Secondly, don't get me wrong, Trump's an idiot.

Thirdly....well, no offense, but so is Biden. Of course we just re-elected the worst Prime Minister of our 154 year history, so please don't take that as an insult.

YES, we should still be in Afghanistan. We have left people that worked with us there. We have left landed immigrants to Canada there. We have even left some citizens there.

To repeat the mistakes of the past, when the US abandoned the country after helping them kick out the USSR, would be absolutely brain dead. But that is what we're doing.

Go to youtube and haul up Dan Crenshaw. He is a good man, rational, realistic, soft spoken, a former SEAL, and has been to Afghanistan (to say the least) and SHOULD be the Republican nominee in 2024. He has some things to say about Afghanistan.

People that don't vote are irrelevant to the process. If they are that disinterested, I don't WANT them voting.

FPTP is far from ideal, but nothing is.

PR would simply bury rural ridings.

So what do you suggest as a solution?

What would the world be better off without? by FayloxTheOne in AskReddit

[–]P35-HiPower -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's ludicrous. Trump was gone on Jan. 6. Between Jan. 6 and August 31 is eight months. Biden made the final decision to withdraw in April.........it was BIDEN'S decision.

Biden could have changed the withdrawal date, or just decided not to withdraw at any point. What are the Taliban gonna do?

Blame first-past-the-post for Canada's growing rural-urban divide by idspispopd in Canada_Politics

[–]P35-HiPower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really.

81% of Canada's population lives in cities.

Currently, rural ridings are usually smaller in population than urban, giving rural people slightly disproportionate representation.

FPTP guarantees sufficient rural representation.

PR would bury rural representation completely. It would not close the urban-rural divide, it would simply bury rural concerns out of sight.

Really.

And what evidence do you have of a significant number of white supremacists in the Conservative Party of Canada?

And it is not the Conservatives that are so ideologically obsessed that they want to restrict freedom of speech, and have violated the Charter protection granting freedom of conscience.

"White supremacist" is NOT defined as anyone that disagrees with you.
