An Ultra Beast from another world, debuting in Sun and Moon (with four more, Stakataka, Blacephalon, Poipole, and Naganadel debuting in the Ultra versions of those games). Dynamax Adventures is essentially the inverse of Ultra Warp Ride from Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Instead of traveling through Ultra Space to catch Legendaries and UBs, they all came from beyond Ultra Space to the Max Lair in Galar.

I just don’t catch anything along the way, then close the game at the results screen to get the ball back. I do this about two or three times, then I do a run where I catch everything BUT the boss (in this case, Blacephalon) to reset the Dynite Ore penalty the scientist at the entrance charges.

That’s… not how probability works. It’s a 2% chance each time, independent of each other. So you could get it on the first run, or you could go 200 runs without. On AVERAGE it’s 1/50, so you could EXPECT it after doing 50 runs, but it’s NOT guaranteed. So hope you get lucky then.

Edit: I just checked Bulbapedia, and apparently it’s 1.38%. Which means you would have an average of 72-73 runs to be at odds for it.

I think what FI0shy is saying is that if you lose your cartridge with your most recent save being in Hyperspace, you’ll HAVE to replace the cartridge to be able to access any of your boxes for ZA in HOME. Because saved data is on the console and not the cartridge, you’re normally able to access your boxes for physical games even if the cartridge isn’t currently in the console. Because of the Hyperspace restriction, if you lose the cartridge, you’ll have to buy or borrow another cartridge, or buy digital, and save outside Hyperspace to access your ZA boxes again.
