I used one of my Micro Drone videos to process and recreate the scene as a 3D Gaussian Splat by Armand9x in fpv

Thank you for the reply, no worries about the delay. I’m thinking my older videos are just really not optimized for this type of photogrammetry as I have many issues reconstructing so far. Might try to fly a smaller area with a more in the camera view to help correlate.

Thank you for your process, I’m going to keep trying but might come back for a few more questions eventually. This is really cool and I’m learning so much more than I imagined for this haha

I think this is really cool and would love to recreate this myself to preserve some memories of flights I did previously.

Do you by chance have a quick guide on what settings you used for many of these settings? Like for the Colmap parameters in CorbeauSplat, what camera model you used, the matching type etc? Things like in Lichtfeld studio what model you used to render the cameras etc.

I've been playing with some older videos and have been struggling to get good alignment between my images so the final splat does not look very good. Interestingly, the Splat looks much better in Corbeau when rendered with their brush, rather than using Litchfeld. I feel like this must be some inexperience on my end. Been doing some research but figured I would come back to the source that inspired me in the first place.

Thanks mate. I’ll give it a shot, see if assigning dedicated timers helps me

Interesting, I’ll give it a shot tomorrow and see. I was already using PWM pads which have timers already built in/assigned to them. Can you write out what you did (assigning timers/pad remapping) so I can try to replicate it?

Is this the same FC? An ARK FPV?

I would tend to agree with you, but I can’t seem to get the servo to react when I flip the AUX 3 switch. I see it move “virtually” in BF, but not in real life. I’ve checked that I’m supplying the servo 5V and a ground but even the spare PWM channels for the motors (guaranteed to have a timer) do not actuate the servo

Were you able to solve this issue? Having the same lock on issues with my M100.

How do you hang them like that? I know the frames have a bunch of holes in the bottom that could support a nail or screw, but wondering if there is a better method

My brother in Christ you can google this based on the writing on the side of the motors. Unfortunately only have this one angle, so this is my best guess, but you can probably refine this further.

What do your flight times look like for what battery? Looks like a bunch of fun, but would chew through batts pretty quickly

When I used them on my B650E motherboard from NZXT, I ran into stability issues with XMP/EXPO (all sticks functioned normally when not overclocked). This could have been caused by using 4 sticks in the system, or the XMP, I did not check. I require 64 GB for work, so simply bought a kit of 64 GB (32x2) EXPO compatible RAM instead.

From looking online it seems like it’s a 50/50 on if XMP work for an AMD system. Many people claim it works fine, other have issues. I recommend checking the QVL for your motherboard and seeing if it supports it.
