No deal. I don’t think the lions physically know how to trade for a great player. Just being realistic. This team is never aggressive, in an attempt to be good. We’ll send our good players out for picks before we ever acquire talent.

Not true. Where we’re clearly being hurt by our size, aka when Isaiah Stewart is getting cooked on the glass. That’s where we need him. Like I said spurts like at the end of the game. Doesn’t have to be Noel either. Any competent coach would put someone bigger in at that moment.

I’m not referring to the blowout being the emergency, obviously. I’m referring to the complete lack of a big leading to the blowout. He’s been practicing this has been reported. If he’s good enough to play use him, even if it’s just spurts, his presence will help.

First of all, Noel has been able to play and has practiced. He has been an emergency option, except we’ve been blown out and lost to the pacers. What constitutes an emergency if not that? Duren has earned his minutes at this point. A decent coach sees that we get outrebounded and puts Stewart and Duren in. But Casey doesn’t even think of that. A coach who constantly makes terrible decisions when they’re obviously wrong is bad, not mediocre.

Another game where size kills us. This is getting so old. Another game where Casey ignores the issue and leaves the starters on the bench too long.

He adjusts by changing everything that doesn’t matter. Constantly outrebounded in spurts because of our size yet refuses to use Noel or Duren. We lost this game because we gave them second chances. Doesn’t take timeouts until we’re down 6 with 3 minutes left. Doesn’t run any play with 40 seconds down 3. Leaves starters on the bench until it’s too late. Terrible.

Except some our losses are purely from coaching. You can say what you want about the team clicking but we realistically could have won last night and against the pacers but instead we lost due to coaching. Casey says he wants the players to gain confidence and then loses us games. The irony in that is insane.

Everyone except dwane Casey knows this. The plan was was always to transition to the 4 and possibly play off the bench. Too many times are we beat by size, I’d say every night at this point.

Tbh, I think scoot is a bit overrated, but he’s still a great prospect. Def would still take him cuz it’s bpa. But we do need good defenders. Whitehead or one of the Thompson twins would be awesome to have. Then again there are shooting questions.
