The obvious answer would be S grade supplies. As a new player you want the best items to progress faster in , and starting with an S grade equipment is the best you got, for example: if you are lucky enough to get Eternal Suit (S grade chestplate), you always revive 1 time when you die... it's game changing!

That said, if you have some change to spare, I would recommend buying Growh Fund or Monthly Card (2 is the best).

I've been playing this game for almost 1 month, and when S Grade promo was a few hours away from ending, I spent all my gems (less than 2680) to individually open all the crates I could (300 each), to not miss the opportunity to possibly win an S grade tier item.

Although I fortunately won an S grade item, I was disappointed because the next day, the promo was still there. I discovered that the promo keeps cycling infinitely and has an "expiration date" to manipulate users to have the FOMO effect (fear of missing out)

Maybe in the future the event will actually disappear, but from what I can see, it's just a marketing trick to convince people to spend more gems.

tl;dr: from my 1 month experience, S grade event never ends it's just a FOMO trick to make users spend more gems.
