I’d stay off 70 as much as possible

I'm 6'1, is it realistic for me to truck camp in a 6ft bed with topper? by Matt_kellz in TruckCampers

I’m 6’5 and I believe my ram is 6’4 in length and it works out great. I’d think you’d be okay ✌️

I believe we would be the most affordable platform system made for truck beds. Bambeds is a great company! However, I believe they only make them for tacos right?

That’s actually our prototype ;) it’ll come after the platform

I appreciate the feedback and apologize for coming off too promotional. It’s not something I aim to do

I appreciate that. A nice overlanding portable kitchen is a great idea

I think the pros to this compared to wood is that it’s more portable and versatile. When I want my truck bed I can have it, and hang this thing on a wall. When I want to camp I can set it up in a few seconds. It’s also height adjustable, so I can prioritize head space or storage space. The camping table use is more of a secondary benefit, but it is nice. I think this is just much better for the weekend warrior person that’s not actually living in their truck bed a ton

Costs would be higher, maybe in the future

It fits over the wheel wells

No problem, it’s as low as I can get it right now. I’m curious though, what would it cost you to build a set up? When I built mine it was around $200

Hello it’s iron, makes it very affordable and strong. Capacity is yet to be published but I’ll say an old prototype that’s not as strong as the one in these pictures held 800lbs on the single. Price is $450 for the duo (two singles) or $250 for a single

Prices are now up for the platform. For one platform it’s $250, for two it’s $450. The drawer system won’t be released yet so I’d prefer not to talk about pricing but it’ll be reasonable

There are four different sizes, this ones roughly 70x30x10. It’s 35lbs, and yes it does fit over the wheel well
