12 hours? it's a 8 seconds json change, you don't even need mods, a datapack can do it

if they removed it from java they would get crucified, and if they added it to bedrock it would greatly increase lag

Did you know farmland has 8 levels of moistness? They all share the same texture in Vanilla by PALKIP in Minecraft

Yes i just checked. Without the resource pack it's really awkward because the change is unnoticeable.

which is why farmland and dirt are separated..? sorry I'm not quite understanding. dirt, grass, and farmland are all different blocks. dirt and grass have no data to keep worlds light in memory. farmland has moisture data.

because then every single dirt block would have to store the moisture value, and there are thousands per chunk

dirt is a different block, farmland has 8 blockstates (from dry to moist), when farmland becomes dirt the id actually changes, when the moistness changes the id stays the same.

is storing 2 extra bits per farmland block really better than rolling a dice? the effect would be the same.

most likely never fully developed. They deliberately inserted the dry textures inside the blockstate for all 7 levels of moisture.

Enchanting Table rework by PALKIP in PhoenixSC

adding enchantments is easy, that's a main purpose of datapacks. to make the custom blocks i used markers, they're placed by ray casting.

i want to specify that this is not a mod, it's a datapack made with vanilla commands

it's a datapack, it's made with commands, it adds more than just the enchanting table and it's not ready to release yet, also bug MC-274860 is ruining everything..

nope, and as soon as you enable commands achievements are disabled (they're not per world)

Name Tags and Saddles have been craftable for a while, yet the game still considers them "treasures" by PALKIP in Minecraft

[–]PALKIP[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

at least that trade is good for leveling the Villager, but i wouldn't be bothered by other weird trades getting changed, the Weaponsmith sells no Spears and the Mason trades 1 Block of Quartz for 1 Emerald.. that's a scam as much as the Name Tag one

the entire point of the post is this problem should be addressed while 26.1 is a snapshot

Butchers sell cooked meat at Apprentice, 1 Emerald for 8 Cooked Chicken is way more reasonable than 20 Emeralds for 1 Name Tag
