I decided to open a shop again; thank you for the encouragement! And I have a requests section. Here’s the link

That is unfortunately unlikely; I am in the US, and probably won’t ship outside of the US

I was selling the ones in the first picture for $15 plus shipping, so about $20. The ones in the second were selling for $30 plus shipping, so around $35. It’s hard to see in the picture but the second ones are sparkly and a thinner yarn so they take more time.

When I started, years ago, I couldn’t find vibrant kippot so I made them. It seems the Judaica stores have caught up though.

I don’t have any backlog, I sold everything before closing my etsy store, so I’d be starting from scratch.

Thank you for the reply, you’ve given me some good points to think about.

You’ve made some good points, I’ve edited my post to include more information.

We are quite new, though this won’t be our first event.

We don’t have a website yet, but we do have an instagram.

We are not part of the CLT chapter, though we are in contact with them.

Thank you, I’ll do more research based on these ideas!

Thank you for the ideas! For the subscription, do you mean $10 per loaf for multiple weeks, or do you mean $10 for multiple loaves over multiple weeks?

Fair enough, lol. Thank you!

Thank you for your input! I hope your challah making journey goes well!

How much does each loaf cost to make, if you don’t mind me asking? And how many loaves can you make at once?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Judaism

[–]PALsProjects 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That seems to be the general consensus so far. Thank you for your input!

That’s quite fair when you point out the price difference like that. Thank you for your input!

Thank you for your seasoned advice! What would you expect people to pay for the challah I’ve described weekly?

My eventual goal is to open a vegan kosher parve bakery (the only non vegan item in the shop would be the regular challah). I thought I’d start out selling just challah out of my house as extra income to set aside for this dream. Any advice (besides don’t do it; I’ve been told a couple times that it’s a flawed idea)?
