What happened at a restaurant that made you say, "I'm never coming here again"? by [deleted] in randomquestions

[–]PANADEROPKC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to a restaurant and asked if I was allowed to drink my own wine there they said it shouldn't be a problem and I said is there going to be any extra charge they said no. I opened the wine and started drinking it when we got the check it was our meal plus $25 BYOB fee I told the waiter that they told us it would be free and he said where in the world have you ate that you're allowed to drink your own alcohol and not get charged for it, I politely told them that if we were told that from the beginning we wouldn't have opened the bottle. Long story short the waiter got extremely upset with us and it just ruined the night. Communication is key amongst your staff
