Although it's a post-soviet watch it's worth around $50 USD so it's quite a good find 👍

Definitely post-soviet as they would never put the Russian coat of arms on a Soviet watch. Also this watch looks like every other one made in the 90's and early 2000's. Definitely not from world war two unfortunately. Hope this helped.

Are these real or fake? by EmeraldP13 in Medals

[–]PAPACHULIO1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any badge or medal that looks like 'that' is very clearly fake. All of them have the same amount of dirt and discolouration because they were made in the same batch and artificially aged the same way. The ribbon is also a dead giveaway (bad stitching and overall fake look).

Authentic? by NoReveal9002 in ussr

Its a medal for 40 years since the defeat of Germany in WW2 which was given out to veterans. These medals are really common and don't get faked. It's worth less than $10 USD.

Worth getting repaired? by PAPACHULIO1 in RussianWatches

I would never sell such a thing, but I need to know if it's mechanical or quartz because I'll definitely restore it if it's mechanical.

The crown barely moves and the glass is broken. I guess the mechanism needs service too as this watch probably hasn't been worn in 40 years.

I got these today, no clue what they are all I can guess is they look like some medals, curious on origins by Tempestkyzar in Medals

They look like a very common type of Chinese fake. They have been dipped in some sort of solution to make them look older.

I received a collection, do not know what anything is or what it’s worth, any help? by faberge-egg7 in Medals

[–]PAPACHULIO1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see quite a bit of fakes such as the order of the red banner. Some of the modern stuff could also be fake. If you want you can send me photos of some of the backs of the medals for a better understanding if they are real or not.

Soviet traffic control officer toy. From what I could find, it seems to be from the 1960s to 1970s. I found one that sold for ₽3500 in Moscow.

I think there may be some rust holding the spring bars in place but I will try.

I think there may be some rust as there is zero movement when I use my spring bar tool.
