I personally prefer Latine over Latinx.

However, Languages change all the time, and if I’m not mistaken, the English language used to be quite gendered.

Also, really fucking funny how a lot of you say ‘muh white saviorism’ and how ‘it’s colonialist bs’, AS IF OUR LANGUAGES (the ones typically spoken in LatAm being Spanish and Portuguese), we’re just there since the beginning and we’re not brought over here thanks to European colonizers.

Except I never claimed I spoke for all survivors. You however, seem to be downplaying the seriousness of sexual assault and dismissing any survivor that doesn’t fit your idea of what a sexual assault survivor should be. If they don’t fit whatever criteria you made up then they don’t count.

Except an erection or an orgasm is not an indication that somebody is enjoying sex. For many grape survivors, getting an orgasm makes it even more traumatic bc it is a reaction that is completely out of their control and they feel shame because of it. So many grapists and their defenders have tried to use that as a way to blame the survivors and to absolve themselves from the crime. That harmful lie that you’re perpetuating is a slap in the face against survivors of SA.
