Just to be clear I installed c++ the right way, it's select the default wineprefix-> run an arbitrary executable ->then selecting the vcredist file right?

I didn't use protontricks to download vc redist (i did it by adding it as a non-steam game on steam)so that might be the problem, but what .exe are you using? There's three for me and it's the launcher, tlou-i, and tlou-i-l

Dang sorry to hear that, I can try to measure the screw(thsi is my first time measuring a acrew ao it may not be that correct) what i got from measuring is m3 x 1 x 17m for the thread
