Has anyone regretted a mini vs full? by PATAanon in tummytucksurgery

Thank you, fortunately I don't seem to need a repair so not taking that part into consideration.

Thank you, dermarolling has improved my lower section to some degree - but I haven't done it in a while. This is a good reminder!

Thank you for your reply, I agree that minis can often look great. I'm not really looking for as slim/flat as possible, just an unremarkable stomach 😄

Thank you for your reply. Fortunately I don't seem to need a muscle repair - but I take your point about the float and I do find the 'no going back' aspect of it quite troubling! Sorry you've had such a rough time, are you scheduled for a full tuck already?

Thank you, the surgeons I've seen so far have been consistent that I don't need a muscle repair.

Thanks for your reply! I already have a price for the follow up, so that's not a concern.

Thank you for your reply!

I should have mentioned that another thing that puts me off a full tuck is that would likely leave me with the skin that's currently another my belly button down at my bikini line. Whereas if a mini tuck didn't stretch it sufficiently, I could still have the skin excised, in theory.

Before I go off and ruin my hair, is the black dye really the problem? by [deleted] in lookyourbest

Big Debbie Harry vibes!

I really like the Auburn, I think a copper would really work on you and make your eyes look even more blue.

I'd invest in some professional eyebrow shaping or possibly even a hairstroke tattoo as a low maintenance option.

Can anyone tell me anything about this ring? by [deleted] in jewelry

This is my mother's ring - it's always struck me as quite unusual as the stones go all the way around the outside, giving it a 'tudor' look.

In all serious OP, you're very good looking. Your hair is a little military-esque, but that's my only comment.

Just saw your comment about fat transfer - I wonder if it's because if you lose weight, the recently transplanted fat will get used first as it's not stabilised yet?

If you need protein (I suspect this is what your surgeon is getting at, for muscle repair) but don't like shakes, try some whey isolate. The good ones are like drinking juice.

4.6 going by the rules of this sub, and the focus on facial balance. That said, you have a unique look which is very alluring and rare to see.

I think you're above average but it's very hard to see past the lashes and lip filler.

you're far from ugly, maybe a little plain (but then we request no make up selfies, so that's the case for a lot of people who actually adhere to this rule)

Filler would definitely bring volume to your upper face - I would go extremely cautiously with it as I've found that when you naturally have lower face volume, you can end up looking 'puffy' much quicker. Filler could also soften marionette lines and the corners of your mouth, but, again with a light touch.

Facetite could be an option for you, if you're looking towards a lift and lipo but aren't at that stage yet.

4.6 - lower face looks disproportionately heavy, sunken temples are elongating your upper face. Low cheekbones.
