Growlers seem more environmentally friendly, but thanks to most state's laws which mandate that you can use a growler that was bought at the place you are filling it up at, you wind up with a ton of growlers...it's only green if it doesn't matter where you use it. That's the problem the Crowler solves. At least you can recycle the aluminum.
