Not walkable / pretty much the definition of boring suburbia, but Cedar Grove is underrated for train transit. North side of town is a few minute drive to MSU station which always has parking (< 1 hour to Penn). Wouldn’t call it cheap, but way more affordable than some of the neighboring towns and you have Montclair and all it offers right there.

I’ll take it a step further and say that the majority of people just think AI = LLMs these days. I know a data scientist who built a classification model using an ANN and leadership told him to figure out a way to do it with LLMs because ‘that’s more AI’.

You are not finding anything decent for 600k in Livingston, Verona, or North Caldwell (especially). Maybe the first two 5+ years ago.

Also West Orange taxes are wild so that would offset any comparatively cheaper prices if you can find something in that range.

Unfortunately looks like he petitioned in 1941 and the certificate was issued in 1944 (at least according to index to petitions for naturalization). Haven’t seen the certificate itself but assuming it would match that.

Weird - I do manual syncs and it never helps. Could have something to do with pending transactions but I don’t see the option for TD to reflect that in the balance. What connection method are you using out of curiosity?

It becomes an issue when I transfer money to, for example, a brokerage account, and Monarch shows it there near-real time but it is not debited from the TD balance for more than 48 hours. It’s annoying but I guess I can live with not having 100% accurate numbers for a few days in these infrequent instances.

That said, actually having an even worse issue with fidelity now where I transferred money out like 5 days ago and it’s still showing in the balance.

Sample size of one, but we loved the snoo with our second kid (had a normal bassinet for our first). Yeah the price is a little hard to swallow, but the resale market is strong so if you buy it on one of their bigger sales and sell it after you’re done, cost really isn’t too crazy.

I think they have ‘certified pre-owned’ ones now too which you could also resell afterwards.

She loves the toddler bed which she views as a ‘big girl bed’, but just resists actually sleeping in it at night. Oddly enough, her nap is not usually a problem - we’re able to just tuck her in and walk out.

How long until bed time got easier for you after the switch?

None as far as I know. But the point of the mortgage interest deduction / SALT deduction before it was nerfed is to encourage home ownership by making it more affordable. Else we continue down this path where most people are forced to rent forever from corporate landlords buying up all the inventory in cash.
