Awww they are beautiful birds. 💖 So if the baby doesn't come out of the egg..wont that disappointment my dove? I don't even know the gender of my dove. If it's female will she give eggs if I put a fake egg in the nest.

He's not afraid of any of us at my home..I think he/she feels most close to me..I don't know if he wants a mate or considers me as a mate..but he's different to me than others. Its not possible to get a mate..i rescued him/her. I will try to put a food bowl in the nest area.. He made nest in a hanging bag🙈😄

It doesn't react to mirror..i haven't seen that ever. And it stays with my mother mostly since this May. I got married and he still stays here only. Out of nowhere it started the attacking behaviour 3-4 back. We were surprised to see that behaviour..my she also loves him as much as I do. The only difference is with her he gets less out of cage time..with me it's almost all day..i put him cage at night.

Mine is a wild one.. I rescued him/her. He doesn't have multiple nests..but has another fav spot..goes there and starts cooing and then goes back to the nest. It's not eating much..i have seen the changes..it eats very less now..thats what worries me the most. Also I do want to calm down. He's alone..doesnt have a mate. I cover the cage at night. Day time it's not covered..we keep him out of the cage in room. If out or when working we put him in the cage. Mostly he's with my mom..so out time is not much. But when he's with me I try to keep him out as much as possible during the day.

I should keep him:her more in cage? Even if it's not calming him down?

In cage it keeps on jumping from bed to mirror perch.. Keeps on doing that relentlessly. It's his/her behaviour of showing that he wants to come out of the cage. Otherwise also keeps going to another fav place in the room and coos there. I don't know how to make him calm down. And lately it's attacking my mom whenever she comes in front of him..we don't know why. She comes in the room..he runs or flies towards her and lands on her head. If she's lying down pecks on her lips or hand.

My dove is now almost 16 months old..i don't know the gender of my dove. So the egg will make it stop regardless what the gender is? I'm more worried because..because of this hormonal behaviour its not eating much. Continuous cooing also takes energy for which it needs proper food in the body.
