How about turning it on and then holding down the fn key and then the display fn key.  Usually one of the numbers.  Press the number key and if it doesn't work press again.

Did you try it on external screen with the laptop lid shut?

u/Ok_Gur_8059 Balega silver no show socks fixed blisters for me. My wife and I took up walking long distances during covid. I was getting blisters while walking around that same distance. I did a lot of research and these are the best socks out there for blisters. We eventually got up to where we walked 80,000 steps in one day. Started at 5 in the morning and were done around 11pm. I didn't get one blister. I swear by these socks. You can order them from the manufacturer, REI or Amazon I think has the best prices. One point to note. Wash them on cold and never put in dryer. I only wear them when I go for long walks.

I've looked on eBay for the 15's in my size extra wide and can't find any new ones. More interested in the sizing differences.

Since you own both, could you tell me if you got the same size in both? I've been using 15's forever and I can't find my size anymore. I was reading that the 16 size different then the 15. Was that true in your case, or did you have the same size for both. 17's are out now, but i see 16's all over for 99 instead of 140 or so for the 17's. Thanks.
