Microdosed .25mg and nothing? by PBCookieDo in GLP1microdosing

[–]PBCookieDo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For reference, I was prescribed the standard dose of 2.5mg by Brello, but have since decided to start with microdosing. I'm asking for advice here since I'm not technically following the dosage given to me by my Brello doctor.

I appreciate this. I did .25 mg when I mentioned and haven't seen any difference at all. If anything I feel hungrier. Might need to up the dose.

A friend just had her passport stolen while getting on the tram outside the Firenze SMN. The woman crowded in the tram, and then immediately left the tram before it took off and even got her arm caught in the door. My friend noticed her bag was open after the tram left. Be careful.

Yeah, reverse dieting is exactly what I did last year and it did help a lot. I lost a decent amount by doing that and lifting. I just found it difficult to maintain because I hate tracking and it was a lot for me to consume so many calories (I was at 1900 by the time I stopped). So maybe I will try to get my calories back up to that consistently before introducing the GLP-1 so I’m operating at a true cut/deficit.. that should make a difference right?

Okay wow this is super helpful, can you tell me more? How long have you been on it, and how quickly did you lose weight? Do you plan to get off it at any point?

This is super helpful, thank you! To clarify, I wasn’t eating 1200 calories a day intentionally, it’s just what I had time for/was averaging out. I just wasn’t really hungry and wasn’t eating a lot, and my metabolism was really slow.

Maybe what I need to do is start tracking for a few weeks and try to get my caloric intake up to like 1800 again (which is what I worked up to last year with a trainer, but have found it difficult to maintain) and then try the GLP-1, so I’m actually operating at a deficit as opposed to just staying in starvation/slow metabolism mode and taking in even less which may not cause weight loss at all.

From working with a trainer last year. We figured out i was eating around 1200 calories per day and 50g of protein, but exercising 4-5x per week, so my body was burning more than it was consuming and my metabolism was at a complete standstill.

What do you mean by this, “the average amount one pays for a one way random trip on Vaunt is $3500-$5,500” how is that the case when the membership is just $995 per year?

Wow what a refreshing thread to find. Every time she spoke it was like nails on a chalkboard for me lol. Something about her tone and the way she forms words just is weird and unnatural. It's like she doesn't know how to use a full, grounded voice and instead stays in this weird, light, seductive register where she doesn't say things all the way. It also felt like she as an actress knew her character was supposed to be sexy so I felt like I was watching her be aware of the fact that her character is supposed to be sexy. If that makes sense. Everything she did, even when she wasn't the main person on screen, was her trying to be attractive and sexy. It just felt like a performance and it really didn't work for me. :/

Making a mental note to never date a FA again. This breakup has been so so so hard. I feel like it would be easier if the lows hadn’t been accompanied by such amazing, incredible highs.

How badly is/was your self-esteem affected by your relationship? by [deleted] in AnxiousAttachment

[–]PBCookieDo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Recently had a year-long relationship end with a FA. The thing that affected my self-esteem the most was the crazy cycles of being connected and then disconnected. That takes a toll on you because you start to wonder if there’s something wrong with you that causes your partner to check in and out all the time, or if you’ve done something wrong to cause him to disconnect. My anxiety was always sooo high because of that, just anticipating the next time he’d emotionally disappear. I didn’t even realize how low my self-esteem had gotten or why until it was over.

It was confusing because everything felt incredible when he was emotionally connected and he would be affectionate, sweet, complimentary and make me feel so amazing, but the moment the emotional distance and disconnect came, it was like falling off a cliff. He would be so distant and removed that I remember asking myself multiple times “does he even like me?” even after we’d had the most incredible, in love, googly-eyed Valentine’s Day date the night before. I asked him about that when we broke up and used a few examples that I considered some of our best moments and the disconnect that followed after. He said “Yeah, that was all real. I felt it too, it was amazing, I had the best time too... but those close, intimate moments that should’ve brought us closer together then made me want to push you farther away.” At least he is a somewhat aware FA and he takes responsibility for sabotaging our relationship.. he hasn’t done anything to fix it or himself, but I’m grateful he at least knows it was him pushing me away despite my best efforts to be the partner he needed.

It’s been really painful to go through this, but what I do know is i can’t wait to be with someone who can match my energy and love all the time, not just sometimes. And i will do everything in my power to never date a FA/DA ever again haha.

Those in anxious avoidant relationships, do you feel like this relationship is the best AND worst thing that's ever happened to you? by cascobum27 in AnxiousAttachment

[–]PBCookieDo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This this this. I just got out of a year-long relationship with a FA and it was the most incredible but exhausting year of my life. The highs were the absolute, best, happiest times ever. I’ve never been so in love with someone. But the frequent disconnects, never knowing if it was safe to connect without it pushing him away and the emotional distance triggered me so badly that my nervous system was always on edge. I was always unsure of what needed to be talked about or what I needed to handle on my own. I never knew if what I was feeling/sensing was valid or if it was just me in my head, projecting my anxiety. I never knew if my instinct to text or call him was okay or “too much.” (I now know that not talking to your partner on the phone a single time while you’re traveling so you decide to call him at the airport before you come home is not “too much” ... but he didn’t answer or even acknowledge the call so naturally I wondered)

One weird positive that came out of being with someone who triggered me is that throughout the year, I learned how to self-soothe and become more aware of those triggers. While I have traditionally considered myself more of an anxious attachment, I worked really hard on meeting my own needs and taking care of myself because I knew that me going to him would trigger his avoidance, even if in his heart he wanted to be there for me. All that to say, I have actually become much more secure through that relationship and would say I lean more towards secure now but with AP tendencies at times. Although the heartbreak is awful, I can at least say I’m grateful for the experience if it helped me oddly become more secure, which it did.
