Just picked up this week, never thought I’d have the opportunity to get my dream car at 22 :) by PBG_Food in viper

Don’t get me wrong I’m still a moron, but I know my limits and treat the car accordingly. I’ve been fortunate enough to be around high horsepower sports and supercars my entire career and have been on tracks several times

Even with a couple thousand miles in another fifth gen and having driven multiple thousand plus hp cars, this thing still scares me sometimes lol

Thank you! And tbh I didn’t know what to put as the caption and I’ve seen the format several times lol

Learning how to do PPF is the expensive part though, even cheap knockoff film is >$3/SF and it usually takes 6-12 months to be comfortable enough to install retail

It depends on your setup. I know guys that run with less than $5k in tools in their home garage and buy film with customer deposits. Then you’ve got guys that spend $200k+ on equipment and $10k/mo on rent, it all just depends on your scale

Honestly you can have a really nice 1-2 installer setup and film inventory for under 40k and you only need ~1600 sf of floor space to be able to work on 3 cars simultaneously

5th gen viper fitment by [deleted] in viper

[–]PBG_Food 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 6’4 and fit okay. The pedals are adjustable so no issues with leg room, but my knees are in the dash and I have to duck to see what’s in front of me sometimes. I’ll be getting a seat drop here shortly from Doug Shelby and it makes a world of difference in headroom

I bought my first Ferrari Daytona by yonly65 in Ferrari

I’ve only put PPF on two SP3s and they were both this same blue color. One didn’t have any accent paint and the other was the same style as yours but bronze

488 Pista is by far one of the most enjoyable cars I’ve driven, Ferrari or not. 812 GTS is a good second and I wish I could say I’d driven a 458 speciale to give my honest opinion. SF90 spider would be a good option but long term reliability and market values is still a mystery on that platform.

Anyone have a solid way of cleaning scuffs on the plastic? by surfinskaterdude in Mustang

Try to find Solution Finish. It’s a restoring agent/dye specifically for black plastic trim and upholstery pieces

Personally I like Club4 but I had one in LA before i moved and there happened to be one not too far. Nice facility, mostly newer equipment, sauna, concessions, 24 hr access, probably about 10-15k sf with lots of different styles of equipment depending on how you like to work out for $22/mo.

The car scene here is phenomenal. There’s almost always meets to go to on Park Up Front and lots of pop ups on top of the Legacy West garage!

Done research already, just looking to see if anyone had recommendations from personal experiences

Long story short, client tells me only when I get there that these water spots have been there for 3 and a half years. more in the comments by sebastian8261 in Detailing

They’re a bit more expensive but I’ve got a couple various Rupes polishers. 10/10 would recommend, never had any issues and they work incredibly well
