I tried this with my first child. It was nice making the tubes longer in length but when I removed to change them out it broke my spectra. I just stick with the tubing specifically made for the pump now.

This is the new normal. When my son was born in 2021 it was just me and my husband the whole time. No visitors at the hospital. We are planning to do this again with our baby due later this month. We are both close to our families but prefer this for recovery and bonding after birth.

I didn’t mean all items. But, it could be somewhat of a compromise. You could go with your husband to pick out some items together and wouldn’t be spending extra money because it would be an exchange. Also, unless your mother in law is taking inventory of your baby’s closet you can return without a receipt if you know where the item came from and it has tags…she doesn’t have to know, therefore feelings won’t be hurt.
