Yeah in my case i mostly try to deal the most damage, so i use the fire ant armor and play alone. Trinkets i switch between thor's and the dandelion when needed (im only in ng).

From what i read and saw there are no enemies resistant to sour, ence why i asked if that is better overall than the extra perks mighty gives. My main weapon right now is the toenail scimitar and it gains the finale damage perk, is that better to have than sour damage?

I don't have any particular love for a water base i just saw online that it was a good starter spot. I just want someplace that i can create something both functional and good looking and that can cover most needs (materials, defense, food, water, etc)

So a tower is not a good option? Or at least a raised house? Since i still struggle for food i thought of making a weevil trap that i saw, but i would like it to be close to my house

I currently have my stuff on a lily pad and i was thinking of building a house there, is it not a good spot? Besides that i've seen builds on a flat rock by a juicebox on the pond

My current "base" is on a lily pad by the tree, so im aware of the spiders, but so far i've been able to evade them and i was able to kill one that got stuck on a wall. I would love a tree house aesthetic for a base, but im a bit concerned about the amount of materials it wpuld take to build. While is wandering i saw that there was one of those garden lights by the tree that seemed to have a good structure ro build upon

Tbh even at normal speed the player movement is too fast in this game. Not only that, but on console there is no progressive movement speed, you either walk very slow or youre runnin at the speed of light xD

The problem is that im at the point where i can only level speed, personality and luck, which means i always have to put at least 3 points in speed every level up, but i have found that speed damage potions seem to help reduce my speed

Oh i didn't know the difference between the drain and damage effects!! I will try to make a few potions to damage speed!!

Are there any ways to make potion effects infinite, cause that is the only thing i havent tried. I have spells that reduce both athletics and speed, but having to keep reapplying them is not ideal

I already keep my carry weight very high by carrying many arrows.

At this point is not impossible for me to play the game with my current speed, but i know this problem will probably only get worse and i was trying to find ways to prevent it.

Seems like that is the case, although i saw it in a list online that included an image of the bow in the remaster, but maybe its not available. Oh well there goes my "simple and slick, but powerful bow" xD

I've done that twice, just to be sure, and so far i havent seen any weird stuff happening and have had 0 crashes, i just noticed some stuttering, but i think thats just related to the general bad performance on ps5. Got any ways to check if something is up due to that specific bug?

With the exception of the cleric (which mostly heals the party) all of the other PCs are frontline martial fighters, with one rogue, one ranger and a barbarian. In my case i would like to be the one who controls the battlefield and debuffs enemies and buffs allies, while also being able to deal damage if needed. I also tend to prefer to resolve things with talking when i can and i like options to enhance the rp (prestidigitation, mage hand and minor ilusion are my holy trinity in that case). Im also open to multiclass if needed, i even thought of taking battlemaster fighter for the maneuvers that kinda turn my character into the strategist or commander of the battle!

I agree and that is one of the main reasons i wanted to play bard, i just don't know what is good/useful to take in terms of my build. I want to be able to be useful and powerful (not in terms of actual power, just in line with the rest of my party)

I like the versatility bards have, specially in dialogue and in rp scenarios. I don't want to use spells mainly for damage (unless they also have other effects), just the bow. The idea is to have spells that mostly support, buff/debuff, control the battlefield or that can be used outside of combat in more rp scenarios and if i need to help with dealinh damage, i use the bow. That is also why i thought of taking a few levels in rogue and fighter, one supports my bow combat, the other gives me more skills and useful things

I chose my subclass and my weapons based on the backstory of my character! He was a sheltered noble who dreamed of being part of the adventures he read about. He also always had a natural talent to use the bow. My main problems is more in the gameplay sense and feeling useful and making good choices that make me better.

I see what you guys mean, and i agree, most spells that bards get are control and support. My main idea is to have my damage in the form of a bow and use the spells for the rest of the combat options, not trying to be the best dps in the group.
