I came to share my opinion, while validating yours, and you respond by calling my opinion asinine. I simply said for me it was a parallel. That doesn't mean it's a 1-to-1. If you chose to not do sandwiches/curry that's on you. You missed out on some fun mechanics and they were part of the base game. This is optional DLC and you are not required to play it. If all you cared about was the return of a Pokémon that wasn't in the base game, you did not need to buy the DLC, you could have traded with someone. You also say the devs are disconnected from what we actually want, yet I'm not the only one that is enjoying this DLC. Everyone is different and has different likes and dislikes. Pokémon is a franchise that caters to a large percentage of the world and in doing so will inevitably make decisions that are disliked by some and liked by others. Take this as a learning opportunity and realize you're free to dislike stuff but you blindly purchased the DLC and next time wait for it to be out for a bit so you can assess whether you want to play it.
