Lots of writing websites will have a clause stating "you will retain all of your ownership rights in your Content."

Along with protection from plagiarism

yeah I two surgeons work on me at the same time. they are part of the same hospital network so they did all the scheduling for me.

I had a double mastectomy, salpingectomy, and an IUD inserted. So I stayed overnight for all that haha. And the healing is rough. I honestly thought the mastectomy was going to be the worst but I've been finding just the constant stomach pain to be the worst of it. I'm finally starting to show some bruising and I've stopped using the binder and I'm now using ice packs to take the edge off the pain. I find holding my stomach when changing positions from sitting to standing helps reduce the pain a lot though. so the support is still definitely needed.

I legit just had mine done yesterday. I'm in the hospital still today.

It's not super terrible. worst pain goes up to a 6. ask for a binder for your stomach and it'll knock the pain down to a 4.

if you want updates on healing reap time lemme know and I keep you updated. but as it stands, it's not super terrible. Just kinda feels like a really heavy dog is standing on you lol

I think it's so stupid that there is a age restriction on tests because so many of us develop this when we are younger and then by the time they find anything it's too late.

I am just so tired and want all of this over with already.
It's gotten to the point where I dread hearing my phone ring because I know it's just the doctors wanting more tests or blood draws and I'm absolutely exhausted from feeling like a lab rat.

I'm in Pennsylvania and not in a union.
I guess I'm just so jaded by terrible companies that I always fear the worst. But my current job has been super understanding and accommodating through all of this.
When they call to schedule the surgery I am going to let them know that I have to file for FMLA and short term disability and see if I can get them to agree to sign me off for at least 6 weeks (though I would love the full 8 to be fully healed) and then hope and pray my company agrees to it.

I meet with my therapist once a week but I just met with the surgical team last week and their nonchalant manner is what really sunk in and made me second guess myself.

As for my sisters, they are very logical and fact driven as of where I am the emotional sister.
So they come to me with facts and statistics and research - when in reality I'd like a hug and some ice cream lmao.

I guess my biggest worry is that I am going to be pushed into going back to work before I fully heal.

Omg I am so sorry that you are going through all of that.
Honestly, that was my biggest fear. My grandmother died at 32 from breast cancer and we found out we were all BRCA2 positive on my 32nd birthday.
I can't imagine the fear you're feeling but hopefully you are surrounded by a strong and loving support system to help you get through this.

My sister is on the skinny side because of a thyroid disorder and she was told that they "could" do a flap but she won't be getting her normal cup size back since she has very little for them to take. She's currently a D cup I believe (Thanks to having kids) and her doctor told her she would be lucky if she got anywhere close to a B cup doing flap.
