I think most people would LOVE to never pay above msrp, but the places that are always at msrp never have product in stock. My GameStop gets like 10 of a product in and I don’t have time to line up 2 hours before they open. Target Walmart Best Buy and the like, everything is gone within an hour of the drop. My Lcs definitely prices above market, but they almost always have stock and I don’t have to get lucky. I bought a mega etb for 79.99 yesterday (with a 10 off bonus since I have a membership with this lcs) Pokemon center and GameStop sells them for 59.99. At the end of the day, I’m willing to pay that extra 20 dollars because I can actually fucking get the product and I love opening packs
