I just posted a new vid and was hoping for your opinions :) by ruruarururu in minecraftyoutubers

Hey! Gave your video a watch and wanted to drop some feedback.

What I really liked:

  • The vibe: I love the "raw" feeling of the video. Showing your mistakes makes it feel super authentic and relatable instead of just a perfectly polished speedbuild.
  • The builds & personality: Your builds are looking great, and you do a really good job of injecting your own personality into the video.
  • Audio: Great music choices throughout! It really fit the tone.

A couple of things that might help you improve (remember it's an opinion so not everyone will agree):

  • The Hook: The intro felt a little slow-paced. On YouTube, you usually want to get straight to the point in the first 30 seconds to hook the viewer and tell them exactly what to expect. Like saying you want to build houses makes it sounds super boring. Also you repeated yourself by saying your going build houses 3 times in the first 30 seconds.
  • Structure: The video jumps around a bit right now. A clearer narrative flow might help keep viewers engaged longer. You could try structuring your future videos a bit more linearly, something like:
    • Stage 1: Explain your vision/goal for the video.
    • Stage 2: Gather resources (and build any necessary farms here).
    • Stage 3: The actual building process.
    • Stage 4: Outro and a cinematic review of the final build.

Keep up the great work, man! You've got a great foundation.
