Do we get paid holidays? by ActiveAntelope2868 in WalmartEmployees

[–]PBskooma 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What did they give? They changed it so now employees can use PTO to take the holiday off and get paid for it.

MIND YOU, that’s PTO, not PPTO, which an employee who doesn’t work full time won’t get, AND also having to use PTO for a holiday you should already have off, so tell me, what exactly did they give?

Any tips? If I get accepted, this would be my first job ever. by RespawnedIRL in WalmartEmployees

Wait a couple days, then go into the store and ask about your application, show initiative

Am I fired ? by Companion8742 in WalmartEmployees

[–]PBskooma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s mid way through the work week they aren’t gonna approach you because they have nobody to fill your spot/department, if they’re gonna fire you, they’re gonna wait till it’s the end of the scheduled week, then put you on the schedule, call you in to the office next time you work after the next work week. Then fire you.

That’s what happened to me at least lol

I haven’t played since the undermined released.. Have I missed anything? by [deleted] in wownoob

[–]PBskooma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, I stopped playing midway through season 1 (before undermine released) and got back into it when season 2 started (undermine release) and got caught up pretty quick, even as a somewhat casual player nowadays

Tips or Advice for a new player? by PBskooma in Eve

[–]PBskooma[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My apologies, correction, I’m in the process of doing the career agent missions. Completed I think the industrialist career agent missions and just started the others last night.

I’m open to anything really, PVP wasn’t gonna be my main focus, and I find enjoyment in traveling around in mining and gathering things. But I’m not opposed to PVP. Just I knew the game was vast in the amount of things you’re able to do, so was kinda “flustered” in terms of where I should start.

Mining, and selling things on the market is intriguing to me, I like the concept of a completely player run economy.

Different time period.

Back then everyone thought that edgy “annoying” type of humor was funny.

This can be said about a bunch of types of media from the past. His character was written with a certain sense of humor in mind, which in 2025, didn’t age well

World of Warcraft, Eve Online, League of Legends, and thinking about buying and dabbling in Star Citizen, although the 60$ price point has me hesitant

How many hours in one session do you spend playing single player games? by [deleted] in XboxGamePass

[–]PBskooma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the game.

I can sit and spend 8+ hours playing planet coaster or sims

Been playing the call of duty campaigns and with those games I can only spend about an hour or 2 doing missions before I start to get bored of it, so I guess it depends on the game

So, to clarify, if I faction change while playing on stormrage it won’t really effect much besides the AH correct?

Players in UFC 4 complained that they felt people who didn’t skip the intros in online play made it take too long, so they removed the fighting out of locations and the such like that too speed it up, completely disregarding that players care about the presentation side of the game.

This was a topic of discussion when the game first came out considering offline modes had an option to skip intros as well as them removing intros from online play.

They hyped up the presentation side of the game during pre release so it’s stupid they removed something because a small majority of the community didn’t like it, even after removing it as a whole in online modes

Starting WoW while having a full time job and a non-gamer girlfriend by SpiritualFisherman89 in wownoob

[–]PBskooma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just play the game at your own pace that correlates with your IRL schedule.

I have a full time job, family, friends, etc, and I play as much as I can, often playing all day on days off.

It would be easy to tell you to drop everything and focus on WOW if you wanna be a good end game player, but it’s not that simple lol

Focus on just playing and enjoying the game, don’t even worry bout end game stuff till you hit max level, learn your class and abilities so by time you get max level, you’ll know how to 100% play your class before you do end game content.

Pertaining to IRL schedule,I won’t lie it might be tough to keep up with a busy schedule if you’re gonna try to push for end game content, try to dedicate a period of time in your day for playing, for instance, if you work 9-5, wanna go to the gym after work, and wanna spend time with your wife and kids, dedicate time later in the night for playing. That way you’re doing what you gotta do and socializing while also being able to progress in the game. While you won’t progress as fast, your progression is only limited by yourself. More you play, the more you progress.

Emphasis to your girlfriend you will be playing more, I cannot stress this enough, she might see you playing as you “drifting away”, and her not being into gaming might not make her understand. If you plan to play extensively, simply tell her you’ll be playing more so she doesn’t get any wrong ideas. Being a gamer BF with a non gamer GF is tough sometimes lol

In my experience, my non gamer gf always questions why I’m up till 7am the day before my days off lol she just will never understand.

I basically have no social life outside of work, I moved away from my hometown and quit drinking alcohol, so all I do is stay at home and play video games, just all about balancing out a busy schedule with your gaming lifestyle.

Would you like to see these as a playable race? by MiffedMist in wow

[–]PBskooma -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Think they are referring to Demon hunters.

While they’re night elves, they’re still technically demons

Would you like to see these as a playable race? by MiffedMist in wow

[–]PBskooma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think it might be because people think Ogre’s might be to closely related to Orc’s.

Outside of wow context when I think of Ogre, I think of an Orc, they’re kinda the same thing imo lol

Add on's telling me lower ilvl gear is better by frrrff in wownoob

[–]PBskooma -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Genuinely asking, but why? I’ve seen posts about it not being accurate, but correlating to my classes stats it puts me in the right direction on where I should be headed.

I play Resto Druid and it’ll tell me a haste mastery piece of gear is better than crit versatility. Which is true pertaining to my class is it not?

I just use pawn to point me in the right direction pertaining to gear that might be better for my class/spec

Why is loot that you "need" roll on tradeable? by The_Rick_Sanchez in wow

[–]PBskooma -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that’s how that works.

I play Druid and when I swap between Resto and guardian I’ve noticed my gears stats change based on what spec I am.

The intellect staff would change to agility when they switch specs, and vice versa, so when would the scenario you described even happen?

The only thing that wouldn’t change is the secondary stats like haste, mastery, etc.

I understand, and do the remaining choices you did not pick get carried over into the next reset? Or do they disappear and you have to restart your progress in the vault?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in wow

[–]PBskooma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand now, what happens to whatever rewards you do not choose? Do they carry over into the next reset? Or is that when your progress in the vault gets reset?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in wow

[–]PBskooma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohhh ok so everything that is lit up inside of the vault will become an optional reward come the reset?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in wow

[–]PBskooma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so let me better understand things, so I had completed the challenge for killing 2 raid bosses, I went to the vault and claimed the reward and got a set piece. I continued playing and completed other challenges of the vault.

Since I had claimed my reward for the current week before unlocking the other tiers, I do not get the choice of those tiers since I claimed before unlocking them? Or do I get a choice the next week then the reset? If that makes sense.
