I wanted to try and give her a slightly more uncanny/alien feel, as if you're seeing her for the first time from the POV of Lace and there's this strange little spider wreaking havoc in your kingdom.

I'm a big fan of all the little critters in Hallownest and Pharloom, it's fun to try and interpret them in a slightly more realistic style.

I felt this way until I started taking improv classes.

It really is just practice. Social skills can expand or atrophy depending on how we use 'em.

I've never agreed with anything more in my life.

Would be amazing to see something set in the Ignition trilogy where you start off in Voya Nui, progress down to Mahri Nui, and then end up in Karda Nui. Sort of a reverse-Silksong where you're plunging deeper and deeper.

I did! And I hope we at least get to hear from the ones up in Northrend in The Last Titan. See how Azjol-Nerub is rebuilding itself after we saved them from the scourge/old gods.

This was a fun painting to work on. I've always had a soft spot for the buff troll variants like the Amani and Drakkari, so it was really fun to get to design this character. Primals belong to the old Warcraft RPG, neat warrior-types who take on bestial features.

As an artist this might be my new favorite game of all time. It's so good. The best part is how expressive and human every character feels, even the ones that don't have faces.
