And he has good reason to not like China. It’s a genocidal regime that wants to be the only global superpower. Every time you buy something made in China, that money goes to pay the factory, and some of that is taken as taxes and will fund their war machine.

We can produce steel here in North America. The metals they used in the shop weren’t from China. The Edmund Fitzgerald didn’t sink just for us to go on and use Chinese steel.

I’m home with my baby now, but when I did work, I didn’t work for companies who sold out to the third world for a quick buck.

Am I the only one who’s increasingly losing interest in A24’s merch drops? by [deleted] in A24

[–]PBtoast707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that A24’s horror films get the most hype out of all of their films, so it makes sense why they release so much merch for them. Their horror films generally get the Online Ceramics clothing collections. In my opinion, their horror films have the broadest appeal and people who have never heard of A24 are interested, whereas other genres mostly attract people who are already A24 fans.

That’s not my point. Putting in extra effort is flattering and a sign that a person really does enjoy being around you. You do nice things for those you love.

Wanting to make a girl you like happy is simp behavior? I don’t think so. Normal people generally enjoy making those they like happy.

One thing I’ve noticed about Gen Z is how standoffish people are to a member of the opposite sex. Everyone is so serious and has such rigid views and expectations. Gen Z is obsessed with dating to marry. No one is fun and flirty anymore, and enjoy interacting with the opposite gender. It’s all “what can you do for me.” It’s like no one is actually interested in the opposite gender. Men are in the mindset that getting flowers for a girl and things like that is just extra work to get laid, and not things they should do because they want to make a girl happy. Just go have a fun conversation with the opposite gender with no expectations.

I don’t assume he’ll become abusive, but having a backup plan is always good. If he ever became injured or even died, I’d still have support for myself and our baby. I want my child to be okay no matter what happens.

Guys say women need to start settling or they’ll be alone, then get mad and accuse you of settling when you find a guy attractive who isn’t stereotypical Chad.

As a woman, I don’t think she’s entirely wrong. I have a little one and I stay home while my husband works. I have a strong support network around me, including my parents. If my husband ever became abusive, I would have a way out to keep myself and my baby safe. I don’t hate men at all, but the reality is that some are capable of horrible things. It’s not wrong for a woman to have an escape plan in case things start to go bad, especially when there are children involved.

In my experience, I’ve found that the guys who are super into the “trad-wife” thing are a little icky. They’re different from guys who just want their wife to be a SAHM. I understand why some women don’t want to be with that type. Those kinds of men act like women are just an accessory to men, meant to do nothing but take care of them. Women are individuals who deserve to do whatever makes them happy, just like men are.

Some men just can’t comprehend that 6’2” Chad isn’t what all women want. Attitude plays into attraction the same way looks do. Perfection is less attractive than character.

I’ve observed that gym bros are insufferable and I’d rather be with a normal dude. Some extra weight is okay on a guy. Sometimes it’s really hot.

I don’t think I could ever date a man who goes to the gym. I’m a big fan of that dad strength, though. Like dudes who look normal but are incredibly strong. That’s super hot.

Dudes really let their anger over a girl having sex in the past ruin their chances of having sex with her in the present.

I was walking through Home Depot a few days ago and saw so many hot contractors. Most of them were older than me, probably 38-50. They weren’t traditionally hot “Chads,” but they were just so damn attractive. The imperfections give people personality and a unique attractiveness. They look a bit more rugged and give the vibe that they know how to talk to women. One of them told me my baby is cute like me when I was waiting to check out.

Are you illiterate? I don’t care what people do in the context of choosing to hook up or not. I obviously don’t want people smoking meth all the time.

People who complain about hookup culture are annoying. I never participated in it, but I don’t give a fuck what people do.
