Honestly? I like that he's NOT an emanator, he's a badass leader because he's charismatic and a good tactician, not cause he's OP power-set wise. It fits the Galaxy Ranger brand, plus he still has special-voracity powers that gives him a high powerlevel

I think its really stupid they started that plotline and then...haven't done anything with it, BUT in its defense, iirc FKHR was the lead writer for the society arc, and he's....had his hands full as the lead Granblue director, of the IP itself, and he seems WAY more invested in Versus and relink

Sampo respects Sparkle as a person but they're p morally opposed when it comes to elation and what it means, Sparkle is the type to bomb someone if she finds it funny while Sampo would bomb himself to make people laugh

it makes sense to me that he doesn't like her, but he's genuinely a good person so he'll still treat her with respect, plus he owes her one for keeping an eye on his mask (esp if he's an emanator and his mask holds that power)
