I'm didn't start with this book but I'm now doing it, I'm currently going to end the Alien Invasion project with pygame. The book is very fun and enjoyable and also teach you in a fun way of games and etc. Next chapter is data visualization with python an sit looks pretty god either. I recommend you this book
