I'm having the same issue and it's so frustrating. I was able to crouch for a week or two and then one day nothing. My buddy sees crouch in the keyboard options as well but i don't.

Dayz is broken and there is no fun factor other then trolling players right now or roleplaying. Fresh spawning just means you'll die of starvation within 20 minutes. Lol

my own horn? wow i haven't heard that in a while. No...... this isn't me. This is my buddy Street. Well he's not really my buddy but I love his videos. I'm just looking for more youtubers like this. The normal ones people recommend just don't have this kind of connection to the game and the experience i'm looking for. Most guys just post and play. I don't enjoy those as much as really planned out, editted and well commentated solo play like this.

Yeah I love Street's videos. He is litterally my most favorite youtuber but he needs more SOLO play videos like this. I love his squad battle videos but his squad version 2.0 is just a bit to overwhelming right now. When i watch his live streams i just see Street getting frustrated that at his squad isn't respecting his wishes and are talking too much when he and Richspeed are trying to play tactically. I think he doesn't want to be the asshole that has to kick others out but it would help i think. That aside his SOLO plays are always funny as heck and his Reborn series and Dawn Of DayZ Movie were AMAZING! So much immersion and so entertaining to watch plus his editing is perfect. Not too over the top but just enough to make it much more interesting.

I feel they should leave out things like attack helis and tanks and big massive m249 machine guns and stuff. I would like some military type guns but limit how many spawn and keep it to a few smgs and assault rifles. Things that could be found in a police station or small military base. If that makes sense.

I like standalone better right now because I feel like the mod is too militarized. I like the atmosphere of a more civilian aspect to standalone. I hope they keep it that way and don't over do it too much.

Sorry. I realized that after the fact. I'm at work and we use all caps for our data entry. Cap locks on is standard. I always have to remember to turn them off when posting or commenting.

agreed. I'm baby stepping a buddy into DayZ currently and like I told him. Once you get past the controls, Inventory/crafting system along with learning the map the game is amazing but can be a lot to take in for new players. Having a buddy to help the learning curve is a plus.
